Everything about Mercers was great! They are always quick to respond to any emails and very easy to work with. We got tons of compliments on the food at our wedding. Their prices were reasonable too!

Mercer's were easy to work with and accommodated our change of wedding date due to covid. The food was delicious and their tasting dinner was nicely set up as well. The staff were nice and handled everything expertly at our venue. One complaint which doesn't necessarily negate 5 stars, is that for the late night lunch we ran out of food. They asked how many people would be partaking, and we estimated generously, but only about 2/3rds of our guests ended up having the food from the late night lunch, it is possible guests took more than normal since it was so good. There was plenty of food for the dinner however. So our only complaint was that we did not know the late night portions were so small, as we would have ordered more if we knew. For numbers: ~80 Guests ordered 80 dinners. Late Night lunch ordered for 60 people, less than 40 had the late night lunch. We also picked up napkins and glasses early for set up the day before, which was easy and convenient

We ordered appetizers and a Bartender from Mercers for our wedding. The food was amazing and the bartender was very friendly and professional. He flawlessly made the His/Her martini recipes we asked for.

Booking with Mercers was very easy. We gave them a vague idea of what we wanted and they helped us figure out the specifics. It was entirely painless. I had plenty of questions, and they answered all of them professionally and quickly. I really appreciated their customer support.

I can’t even begin to explain how happy we were with Mercer’s at our wedding. Everything from the initial communication, planning, personalized service, delivery and after care was beyond excellent. The food was AMAZING. Our guests raved about the food and we are still hearing about it months later!

These caterers were on time and provided everything they said they would. Staff were pleasant and professional. Food was very good. They did an excellent job of set up and clean up. Great job everyone.

We hired Mercers for our wedding reception. the food from Mercer's was excellent, good flavors and no extreme flavors so it was compatible with everybody's pallet. A lot of people talked about the Mercer signature potatoes which were amazing. We went through different bartenders though due to high corkage fees. The dinner package we ordered included glassware for the table but as soon as they start packing the buffet up which was quite quickly they also took my guests glassware away and some were still drinking their water which I received complaints about. I understand Mercers needs to clean up but I did also pay for the late-night buffet as well so, in my opinion, they could have waited an extra half hour so my guests could drink the rest of their beverages several people mentioned that it seemed the servers were rushing to get all the dishes picked up and they felt awkward. The tea and coffee station had no teaspoons or stir sticks or napkins. The late-night buffet was packed up after like half an hour and I still had guests arriving late. I had to stop them from taking the trays away for some of my guests to have tacos, the tacos were amazing though and I did have several people mention that they were quite good but considering I paid $1000 for the late-night buffet at least being out for an hour would have been nice because I did tell them I had several people coming for the after-party. I would totally recommend Mercers but if you hire a different bartender then I would rent glassware through someone else so it is not removed immediately.

Great food and very easy to coordinate with. Very pleased with their service. Bonus was them supplying linens. Was happy with the great number options provided-was easy to find what worked for us our hall and guests.

We had Mercer's Catering for our wedding back in November.
Wade was very flexible and was willing to provide us with anything we wanted, which was amazing.
A few problems we did run into was that we arranged snack trays to be delivered to our bridal suites (at the venue) for the 3 hours we were getting ready. However, they did not arrive until 20 minutes before the ceremony began. At that time, we were getting situated to get going and I was getting into my dress, so we didn't get to fully enjoy those pricey snack trays.
The other problem was actually MANY complaints we received from our guests. There was a few servers who cleared drinks from the table that were only half done while the guest were away. We had a toonie bar so guests paid for their beverages.
The food and helping execute our wishes was outstanding, however the day of didn't go as smoothly as I would have wished.
