Canadian Memorial United Church is a progressive faith community in Central Vancouver. We pride ourselves in tailoring a wedding ceremony that reflects your values and unique love story. We joyfully celebrate same gender and opposite gender weddings as well as blended families and previously divorced people.

Facilities and capacity

Our venue includes a historic neo-Gothic Sancutary complete with pipe organ, grand piano, and stained glass windows built in 1928 and the Centre For Peace a modern building perfect for receptions, smaller weddings, or rehearsal dinners. Our grounds contain beautiful gardens and there is a 25 vehicle parking lot adjacent to our fully accessible buildings.

The Church Sanctuary has a capacity for up to 325 guests and the Centre for Peace offers several rooms, kitchen facilities and a garden setting. The Great Hall is the Centre for Peace's main dining room with two-story ceilings, wood parquet floors and a capacity for up to 100 guests. The smaller Fireside Room has a capacity of 50.
