Danielle was awesome! I had my dream wedding and it was all because of her. She was so great about me changing my mind on certain things. She provided advice when I asked but she let me drive the vision of my day. Highly recommend thanks service!

    Tunnel Mountain Rentals

Something New Banff provided a rental archway, chairs and decorative lanterns to our wedding at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir. I would highly recommend their rentals and we were very pleased with the quality of their services. They delivered everything they promised at a great value. My only critique would be the occasional slow response during the planning process.

    Perfect Mountain Elopement!

Danielle and her team are the best! They made our special day stress-free and effortless. Everything we wanted turned out just as planned. All we had to do was show up at get hitched. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner!

    Emerald Lake Elopement

We chose Something New Weddings after researching various wedding packages in the Rockies, and their prices seemed to be quite reasonable along with other great reviews. We booked a Signature Elopement Package through Danielle from Something New Weddings. It cost roughly $4000, ... View more $4000, but what was good about the services was that it could be tailored to suit your needs. We removed the photography package, as we booked Darren Roberts for an 8 hr Rockies photo shoot during and after the ceremony. We also added an extra night accommodation at Emerald Lake which we’re glad we did. The whole process with Danielle was great. We did at times find it was a choir to try and speak with her over the phone as all correspondence is done via email (Mostly), but we understood how busy she would be coming into the summer months. All of our requests were taken care of, which included adding a floral crown for my fiancée, and specific requests regarding hair/make up, time frame, and the request to have our German Shepherd as apart of our ceremony. Danielle organized Hans Lenstra (officiant) to conduct the ceremony, which he did perfectly. He was extremely sweet and made the ceremony very easy going and slightly comical. Danielle organized to have 2 witnesses for us as we literally had ourselves and our dog Hunter present. She even waived the fee, which we really appreciated. The hair/make up stylist Danielle organized was phenomenal. She was calm, professional, talented, and most of all, she didn’t stress out and tailored every request that my fiancée asked without batting an eye lid. The floral crown we requested was way too big, and it was decided to remove flowers from the crown and input them in the braids, which looked just as good. The only negative I’d mention is that it would have been nice to be provided phone numbers to the florist / hair stylist directly so that requests could have been made with them directly, instead of sending photos of ideas we wanted which was then passed onto the specialists etc. Makes it hard to describe certain requests through emails / photos which may not be entirely what you want. We had Becky come and organize the ceremony day, and deliver the floral arrangements etc. She was lovely, and provided an overview of how the ceremony was going to go. At no stage did she rush us or make the day feel like it was just another ‘job’ to her. Her and another assistant were lovely throughout the ceremony, and assisted with pressing record on our personal camera, grabbing flowers from Jess during the ring exchange, and assisting with signing etc. Overall, the wedding went without a hitch, and the weather was phenomenal. We lucked out completely, as the next day started to rain slightly. I would definitely recommend Something New Weddings to anyone who wants to elope or have a wedding in or around the Rockies. (Photo shown is from our iPhone during our photo shoot away from Emerald Lake. We don’t have any photos yet from the ceremony).

    The Best!!

Danielle and her team were exactly what we were after. We didn't worry about one single thing to set up, timing, tear down, or anything in between. They took care of everything without having to disrupt any in the wedding. An EXCELLENT choice, and I would work with them 100 times over.
