The best experience from the start!
I was a Type A bride and was looking for a day-of-coordinator to make my vision come to life on the big day. One thing that was really important to me was to have a coordinator present from set-up all the way to tear down (preferably one that didn't charge extra for tear down, which was surprisingly hard to come by). I found Jasmine Summers Events and filled out a form for an initial consultation call. Two aspects in particular drew me to contacting Jasmine and that was the amount of support you get prior to the wedding and that tear down was included. On the first call, we met with Jasmine who was very upfront in letting us know that she would not be available on our wedding day, but if we were open to having another member of the team support us then Jasmine Summers Events could take us on. Jasmine was very understanding and did not pressure us to make a decision. We decided to move forward because we felt really comfortable after this initial call and just had a good feeling that Jasmine's team would be just as positive as her. Isis was the person from Jasmine's team that ended up being our lead day-of-coordinator and we could not have been happier! Isis was patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. There was a cultural component to our wedding and Isis took extra steps and dedicated time to understanding the order of events and cultural significance of each aspect. I truly felt a level of respect and appreciation of the culture from Isis which did not go unnoticed. During the planning stages, Isis had a fun, outgoing and positive demeanor, which helped keep me calm during the most stressful of times. The one aspect I appreciated about working with Isis was she was always available for a disaster check - answering the question "Is there anything I'm missing?". Isis was so organized and there are many tools and templates that Jasmine Summers Events provides to keep you on track, which in turn will help on the day of as well! Isis took the time to make sure she understood my vision, including asking for photos and inspo pics (ex. Pinterest boards, etc.). To add a layer of complexity (and stress), we were planning our wedding from a different city. This is where Isis' experience really came into play as she had coordinated weddings at our venue before and she was able to give us some tips and advice on how to go about planning certain aspects.
On the day of, Isis and Sabrina were absolutely amazing. I did not worry about a single thing during my wedding. We took photos in the morning and had the ceremony and reception in the late afternoon/evening. By the time we got to the venue, everything was set up and it exceeded my expectations. If there were any issues - I had no idea about any of them! Isis always checked in with us and made sure we ate. Tear down happened so quickly, I didn't even notice it had happened. Isis made sure beforehand that we had people taking the decor and that she knew who these individuals were, so that all the decor could be put away well before deadline set by the venue. Isis and Sabrina were so so so amazing.
Affordability was a factor in choosing to reach out to Jasmine Summers Events and I can say with 100% confidence that I got way more than I paid for! The level of service exceeded our expectations and we have nothing but positive things to say.
