After my wedding, I spent a lot of time telling anyone who would listen about the incredible Events Your Way team. When I was initially looking to book a planner for my wedding, I asked my core group of seven girlfriends about their experiences. We hired Faye after meticulously reviewing 17 different wedding planning services. Her and two other planners came out on top. The moment we met with Faye in person we knew that she was the right match for us.

We had a DIY wedding on steroids. We wanted to hire a vegan caterer, use local florals and rent a venue in the city centre. Unbeknownst to us, our non-negotiables made wedding planning challenging to say the least. We hired a non-traditional venue and caterer and took on the majority of the wedding design ourselves. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

Thank goodness for Faye. Over the course of a year and a half, Faye worked tirelessly to make our dream wedding a reality. We encountered every sort of challenge imaginable. To give an example, we realized 6 months out from the wedding that we had to find a new venue. If Faye was stressed by our decision, she certainly did not show it! She worked with the new venue coordinator to ensure that we could still use all of our existing vendors, and that the venue could accommodate our vision.

DIY folks, Faye is your girl. Have you ever seen one of those “wedding regrets” videos where the bride laments working on a welcome sign for hours and then forgets to set it up the day of? Well, we DIYed every single piece of our wedding decor, and Faye and Kyri made sure it got used! I would have mini anxiety spikes throughout our reception thinking we forgot to set up our bathroom survival kits or card box only to realize that Faye had taken care of it.

Lastly, Faye will ensure that your wedding reception goes smoothly. I guarantee that no matter how ironclad your wedding timeline, something will go wrong. In our case, the 5 minutes we gave each parent for a speech turned into 20. By the end of the speeches we were an hour behind our timeline. Faye calmly worked with our MCs to get us back on track with minimal disruptions. She was an absolute badass.
