We had the opportunity to work with Selena and Lesley (Cali & Co Events) for our wedding and cannot say enough good things about our experience. Selena was incredibly professional, kind, and organized and made sure every detail went perfectly. Leading up to the event, Selena made our experience stress free by creating our day of timeline, sharing the timeline with vendors and ensuring any changes were updated and handled accordingly, and ensured no details were missed (amongst many others things). Selena and Lesley did an amazing job setting up and tearing down our event space, which we could not be more grateful for. We highly recommend the month of coordination including set up and tear down with Selena and Lesley!

We had the opportunity to work with Cali and Co Events for our wedding on August 23, 2025 for both set up and take down services of our decor. Right from the get go they were amazing to deal with. They were quick and informative with their email responses. They set up a shared drive for us to upload everything regarding how and what we wanted set up on the day of. They set up the shared drive an ample amount of time prior to our wedding showing they are very organized and on top of their events. They reviewed our shared drive and followed up with any questions they had prior to the day of. And they were great about adjusting to any amendments we had made in the plans the week prior to our wedding. They arrived on time for set up and had everything ready and set up with time to spare. There was a little mishap where we forgot some of our table runners, but Selena and Lesley were very accommodating and understanding and were able to set up as much as possible until we could deliver the remainder of the table runners to them to set up. They also arrived for take down and organized everything back to how we had it in boxes/bins without disturbing our guests. We would highly recommend Cali and Co. Events for others wedding decor set up and take down services. With their help, our guests were able to enjoy themselves without having to stop partying to help take down decor.

We had the pleasure of hiring Cali & Co. Events as our Day-Of Coordinators for our wedding this past weekend, and we truly can't thank Selena and Leslie enough. From stepping in a month before the big day to help with planning details, to seamlessly managing our timeline and coordinating with all our vendors, they handled everything with professionalism and care.

They led our rehearsal with confidence, ensured every detail of our ceremony and reception was set up perfectly, and even took care of the breakdown at the end of the night, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worry. We hired Cali & Co Events for set up and tear down of our decor, and they did an amazing job! We were on the fence about hiring someone to do this for us and we were so grateful we did. Communication was great and always super quick, and Selena and Lesley were so kind and professional! Honestly so pleasant to work with, our day wouldn’t have been the same without them. We will definitely be recommending them to anyone we know planning their wedding!

I highly recommend Selena as a wedding planner and day of coordinator. She was prompt with replies to emails, presented ideas in a clear and concise manner, and was always available whenever needed.
She did an amazing job as a day of coordinator, always around whenever needed, and if she was off somewhere busy doing something and I needed her, she answered my phone calls/texts immediately to help with relieve the stress of the wedding.

I would 100% recommend hiring Selena and Lesley for your wedding. I am so happy with the work they did for us - helping us come up with a seamless timeline, setting up our decor, dealing with the venue day-of, playing our music for the ceremony.. just to name a few things. My husband and I worked hard with planning the wedding and thanks to Selena and Lesley we got to just be present and enjoy the day.

We hired Selena a month out from our wedding as a day of coordinator. She took away all our stress and managed the whole day perfectly. She set up decor, lit candles, helped with guests and helped our mc's/DJ/venue/wedding party all stay organized and on time/pivot when we were running late for certain things! I was able to enjoy the day and not have to worry about anyone coming to me because Selena was able to handle it all and let us enjoy. She was also super responsive :) Thank you so much !

We were able to drop off all of our decorations with her before the wedding which allowed all of us to focus on getting ready. She set up our decorations exactly how we envisioned it. Horrible Setup/Takedown/Bartender/Cleaning: Cali and Co Events - Selena and Lesley

The set up for the ceremony went great, came back to the reception not what we discussed at all.

1. Communication, sub par, emails took sometimes up to a week to be answered.
2. The reception was supposed to use the signing table from ceremony as toonie table, when my mom asked why that table wasn't set up Lesley said there were no other tables.
3. Half the vases weren't put out, candles weren't lit on all the tables, 3 tables missing dinner plates on top of charger plates.
4. They opened almost ALL our alcohol, we can’t return most of it. wines, cases of beer, coolers.
5. One of our groomsman asked for 2 budlight, he was told we were out of budlight when a full 48 case was not opened, and the other 48 case only missing 9 beer from it.
6. Bartender was absent several times while guests waited to order drinks.
7. We supplied limes AND a knife, none of that was readily available.
8. When they cleaned up they threw all the table cloths in balls with food on them into a box
9. 17 broken wine glasses from poor packing up, vases with candles all melted to the side stuck inside
10. Damaged wedding signs can't resell
11. Their cleaning was absolutely horrendous all the wedding party returned the following day to reclean the hall as it was horribly cleaned
12. Would not recommend this company to someone I hated. Please steer clear of them, when you give negative feedback they jump to blocking you on all social media!🚫

My husband and I are so thankful that we came across Cali & Co Events while virtually planning our Edmonton wedding all the way from Ontario! We had additional stress (on top of the usual wedding planning stress) to figure out how to coordinate our wedding day. We reached out to Selena for day-of coordination, and it was smooth sailing from the moment we met to the actual wedding day! We appreciate that Selena is a certified wedding planner because it really shows. Selena was responsive over email and supported us to develop a wedding day timeline. We met in person a few days prior and we went through the timeline in detail, and she took all of the decor that we had for the day prior. Her assistant Lesley was very nice as well. Selena and Lesley were at the venue right when it opened on the day of, and led us through the rehearsal. They supported us throughout the day and checked in with us if we wanted more time to chat with family compared to following the schedule to the T. Selena and Lesley were an absolute joy to work with. They set up the decorations just like my vision, they were calm, and problem-solved when we needed to. They put away the decorations in the boxes and helped transport them into the cars. My family and friends all had positive experiences with both Selena and Lesley. We're so thankful for their professionalism, reliability, and kindness. We highly recommend Cali & Co Events to anyone looking for a wedding planning services.
