We booked Michael through our wedding package at Newland's, it was overwhelming with their large choice of photographers but Michael's album stood out the most to my husband so we decided to book him. He was exceptionally helpful through the entire experience, from setting up meetings, to pose guidance, and even just helping set a comfortable vibe for everyone involved. All of my family and friends keep talking about how great his personality was, and everyone loves the photos. He was so sneaky during the ceremony and reception, there's so many amazing candid's, some of my favorite photos are ones I never even knew he had taken. We were so happy with the amount of photos we got back, there's not a single bad picture, it's been nearly impossible to narrow down a handful of favorites. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience.

Michael was amazing, professional, easy going, personable, talented and super easy to communicate with. We could not be more happy that we chose Michael to capture our speical day. Everything was perfect and turned out amazing. We will definetely use him again in the future and would highly recommend him.

We chose Michael as part of the wedding planning package at Newlands and from our engagement session knew that we picked the right photographer for us.
Michael made it very easy for us to take good shots as he helped us pose (both of us were clueless so we needed someone who gave good directions).
Michael was very communicative throughout the whole process and we really never had to worry about anything to do with photography.
On the day of the Wedding, Michael figured out a bit of a workaround the rainy weather, dealt with "particular" family members with grace and ease ensuring that he was getting the shots we planned for.
After all was done, he delivered beautiful images and spent extra time with us in person perfecting the layout of our album. He never made us feel like we were asking too many questions, or were picky or anything like that.

The first time we met Michael, we were both struck by how comfortable we felt with him. He is very personable, easy to get a long with, good humoured, knowledgable, professional, and kind. Big smiles were easily had. On the day of our wedding, Michael was on the ball as soon as he arrived. He had a game plan, and did his thing. I did not worry once how it would go. He knows what works and what doesn't, his eye for context, design, and artistic flair was evident. He was able to direct my group and my guests in a fun yet concise manner, enabling him to yield us A TONNE of amazing photos. He spends an excellent amount of time with you and his price can't be beat. He also offers little extra services such as getting high quality books printed for you. Michael Stanton the owner and photographer of Stanton Photography is amazing. He photographed our wedding on 2022JUN04. He was full of energy, passion, excitement enthusiasm, when it came to capturing all the moments of our big wedding day, and truly making it a once in a lifetime memorable experience for us. He is very skilled, talented, creative, and imaginative, knowledgeable, and experienced. I could tell he has had many years of experience, knowledge, and expertise in the field and he planned and coordinated very well with our videographer. In comparison and contrast to other modern wedding photographers who mainly use darker moody styles which i personally hate because they feel dark and gloomy, I love and prefer Michael's photography style which feels natural, is bright, warm, vivid, and colorful happy cheerful. His photos are also of the highest quality 4K resolution. His equipment is very good high quality and up to date. What I found amazing was he was able to make photos taken in a very dimly lit living room appear naturally bright and colorful as if the room was brightly lit. At our wedding we did not have the time and luxury to take photos of just the two of us, bride and groom together as a couple for like an hour or two at some beautiful scenery like a park or reception garden /golf course etc ,we were always moving and on the go, constantly from one event location to another. But that still didn't stop Michael from still giving us great beautiful memorable wedding photos. Despite the challenge and time constraints given at each location event of our wedding Michael was very creative , imaginative, and a genius photographer whos able to overcome those challenges and think outside the box he was able to come up with ideas for backgrounds and beautiful photography scenes out of nothing on the go, on the fly. For example he took the wall outside our restaurant reception which was painted grey and he took grass and trees at the back of our church and with his mind he turned into a background scenery and with direction and poses he was able to use this to capture us beautifully as a couple still even with the little limited amount of time and background scenery resources available. I was quite amazed and impressed. I can tell he really cares about and loves his photography work projects and puts a lot of passion and effort into giving his clients the best wedding photos possible with even very little to work with and time. I was really happy that I chose Michael as our wedding photographer and really believe we lucked out discovering him on Wedding wire and booking him. I don't think i could have chosen a better photographer than Michael for my wedding. His direction and poses that he came up with for us were great which resulted in very beautiful romantic wedding photos. Overall I was very impressed and amazed by Michael. Michael did an amazing job capturing all the best memorable moments of our day every moment that made us laugh every moment that made us smile he did not miss a single thing. I would say his pricing for the current wedding photographer market compared to others in the industry is quite fair and reasonable for the value. For our full wedding day of 13 hrs from 8AM to 9 PM was about $3000 after tax and everything. What i love is he gave us the USB with all the photos taken . Michael started with us from 8 AM to 9 PM our full Traditional Vietnamese wedding day of 13 hrs resulted of 956 full 4K resolution photos total at 13.7 GB
he also provided us with another usb at lower resolution meant for quicker uploads and also allows access for you and others friends family to view all the photos for a limited time on his website. I would definitely recommend Stanton Photography to my friends family neighbors colleagues people i know for their wedding and highly recommend him for your wedding or special occasion event.

Stanton's Photography - Michael Stanton was SUPER easy to talk to and work with! I cannot believe how amazing his work is! Not only did he do such an excellent job with capturing all the special moments and details of the wedding and reception but he also helped out with my dress! My family and husband are so thankful for this man! He never gave up, during the wedding ceremony he even went and chased down a mower to stop lawn mowing during the ceremony, and came right back and just kept going as nothing happened! We cannot thank this man enough, my family and I were so super impressed with his work ethics, his respect, his passion for his work and the knowledge and understanding of the wedding industry. Michael made my husband and I very at ease. We both hate being in front of a camera but he made it feel so natural and easy. He had amazing energy that we fed off of and he made the day go by so easily with positive energy and vast experiences with so many weddings.
