Barndoor Studio is led by Kerrie (Kay) Murphy, a Nova Scotia wedding photographer with 30 years of experience. Her photography styles consist of photojournalism and portraiture. Kay will work with you to ensure that her work reflects your personality. She wants to make your photos as unique as you are. She is unobtrusive in capturing every little moment of your special day.

Kay has 30 years experience and a true passion for photography. Every picture she takes is treated as a work of art for her and reflects her focus on life and light. Kay also specializes in maternity and boudoir photography. Her experience also extends to commercial photography, including real estate, catalog, headshots, and social media work. She also has experience with photo-editing and digital conversion services.

Barndoor Studio offers high resolution images, digital files, and proofs. The business is liability insured. An engagement session is available. The session includes the following:

• 1.5+ hours within 100km of Windsor (extra mileage available at additional cost)
• 20+ high resolution proofs

How she works

kay wants to work with both of you, meeting with you a few times before the wedding to understand the vision you have for your images. She gives you a booklet, when you meet to book the wedding, that she has written, called Help Your Photographer Get Amazing Wedding Pictures. This book is full of tips that she has gained, over the course of 30 years, on how to plan your wedding with the photographer in mind.

Other service

Kay offers portrait services as well, subjects including graduation, maternity, newborn, cake smash and more. Portraits can be done on location or in the studio.
