Everything we expected and More

Rachel did a phenomenal job playing at our ceremony, she went the extra mile by adding musical flourishes and was very flexible with ceremony space. She truly set the ambience and mood for our ceremony.

Dream Wedding - Wonderful Chantal

Working with Chantal was a dream from the beginning till the end. My only regret is not having her play for additional time. It was such a lovely experience and up to this date our wedding guests think it was a dreamy wedding like they only saw in the movies and Chantal played a wonderful part in it. Thank you SO much!

Beautiful addition!!

I have known Chantal for many years as one of her former harp students. I thought it would be an amazing addition to have my previous harp teacher play at my wedding. She was very welcoming to my family and I, she even let me play my favourite song (she only let me do this because I know how to play) lol but man that experience and those pictures were stunning! Chantal has always been amazing and it was great seeing her again, all of my guests were entertained during the cocktail hour. She played current music as well as your classics. If you’re looking for that little bit of personality on your big day you should seriously consider Chantal and her team!

Fantastic, professional, talented harpist

We wanted a harpist for an early October wedding ceremony. It turns out that harpists are (understandably) somewhat concerned about playing outdoors in the middle of fall. Of the over half-dozen harpists we contacted, Chantal Dube was by far the most responsive and willing to work with our venue. She was also very helpful in making suggestions regarding song choices and helping us with the songs we wanted. On the day itself, Naomi Jackson arrived with plenty of time to set up. She did a fantastic job playing in the lead-up to the ceremony and during the ceremony itself. The music really helped make our day a little bit more special. I would highly recommend Chantal Dube and her team to anyone looking for harp music for their wedding!

Chantal played her harp during our wedding ceremony on June 10th, 2017. She did a fabulous job and we got nothing but compliments from our guests. It also added a unique and special feel to the ceremony. Thank you Chantal for your amazing performance.

I am pleased to give Chantal my highest recommendation for her work as a harpist at my wedding. She was a delight not only to hear, but also to work with. From start to finish, she was pleasant, professional, punctual, attentive, helpful and sincerely interested in making my day very personal and full of lasting memories that I will cherish. She played for one hour during the dinner, and her exquisite playing added a wonderful sense of elegance, peace and uniqueness to the event. I had positive comments from my guests, who also commented on how beautifully Chantal played and how much her presence added to their enjoyment of my wedding. Asking Chantal to play was absolutely one of the very best choices I made for my special day, and her presence was the fulfillment of a very long-held desire to have beautiful harp music for my guests. I was completely satisfied and will cherish her music as one of my favourite memories of my wedding.

Nothing Like It!

A harpist is one of the most special instrument you can ask for in a chapel setting. A wide variety of song list to choose from. Flexibility for indoor or outdoor is awesome.

Harpist ~ I Studied with Toronto harpist, Chantal Dubé, the Canadian Opera company orchestras principle harpist, Sarah Davidson, and Julie Umbrico at the Royal Conservatory. In 2015 I was a gold medalist with the Royal Conservatory for my grade six-grade practical exam. In 2016 I received another gold medal for my grade eight practical exam and attained first class honors in my grade eight practical exam. I have also performed with the JSO (Jubilance Singers and Orchestra) and recorded an album with them which was released in 2016. My twin sister Heather and I enjoy offering elegant romantic performances as a harp and cello duo! We offer couples a dynamic and unforgettable experience. When performing we often perform in elegant matching dresses and I play on my 46 string semi-grand pedal harp. When I am not performing as a harpist, I enjoy studying Art/Art history.

Harpist ~ I began harp lessons with harpist Chantal Dubé in 2003. Since the beginning of my musical career, I have enjoyed performing and sharing my music with my family and the community. In my early years, I would perform with my school orchestra before graduating into high school. In 2008 I completed my Royal Conservatory grade eight practical exam. I have been continuing in my studies with Suzanne Thomas, former Principal harpist (for 52 years) in the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. I am currently performing for Chantal Dube on my 47 string grand pedal harp at various events throughout the GTA.

Cellist ~ I have a musical background in piano, flute and have been playing cello since 2012, studying with Peter Cosby, a cellist in Annex string quartet, since 2013. In 2015, I traveled as a cellist to Armenia with the JSO (Jubilance Singers and Orchestra). I have also been apart of the JSO and recorded an album in 2016. My twin twin sister Naomi and I enjoy offering elegant romantic performances as a harp and cello duo! When I am not playing my cello I enjoy painting the works of artists including Ingres and Botticelli.
