Kim & Company

We hired Kim & Company to play at our wedding in early October - to say we were gobsmacked by their performance is an understatement. Without reservation, the best band I've EVER heard play live - and I've been to dozens upon dozens of weddings over the years.

Three major pieces I want to highlight about Kim & Co:

1) Their set list is expertly curated and designed to unite all ages on the dance floor.

I've been to so many weddings where the "older" crowd remains seated for the entirety of the reception. Kim & Co. plays the hits *everyone* knows - they're fun, easy to dance to, and tried and true crowd pleasers.

At 1:15 in the morning, our ENTIRE dance floor was screaming "one more song! one more song!" (including my parents, directly behind me). It's a memory I'll never forget.

2) They're incredibly reasonably priced for the value you get.

We interviewed at least a dozen bands before finding Kim & Co. We weren't blown away by any of them - and they all came with hefty price tags. You'll get your money's worth 10X over when you book Kim & Co.

3) Their energy is unmatched and Kim is a pleasure to work with.

This is a band you want to work with. The booking process was easy, and Kim is a true pro. Our venue, The Broadview Hotel, had never worked with a band of Kim & Co.'s size, so there were a fair number of technical hoops Kim had to jump through in order to ensure the night ran smoothly. Everything went off without a hitch - and I can't tell you the number of messages we got asking, "what was the name of your band???"

I can't recommend Kim & Co. more highly. They made our reception SO much fun, and I didn't leave the dance floor the entire night. Thank you for making our wedding an absolute dream.

We saw Kim & Co at a wedding 5 years ago and every though we weren’t engaged yet, we knew we wanted/needed to hire them for our future wedding. Fast forward 5 years to Jan 3, 2020. The band had everyone dancing from 9pm to 1am, everyone had a blast! And Kim is an absolute pleasure to work with!

Simply put, this band made our wedding a hit. Guests danced the entire night + we've had a dozen friends ask us "who was that band!" Would highly recommend them; Kim was incredibly flexible, professional fun.

The band is outstanding- an extremely talented group of musicians who definitely know how to perform! All of our guests were on the dance floor from start to end of their performance and we still have people raving to us about how much they enjoyed the band. Kim & Co.'s song list is filled with perfect crowd-pleasing wedding songs and they were also flexible enough to learn a couple special songs for us (and played them perfectly!).

Kim herself was wonderful- easy going and organized from the start, making the process of planning easy for us. We really felt like she cared about making our wedding night special and we loved working with her.

Kim and Company were amazing!!! I spent every moment on the dance floor from the moment they went on- they made our wedding a success and were by far the highlight of the evening (they even topped the sushi bar ;).

Kim and the band were absolutely wonderful! They made our night so lively, fun, and upbeat. They bring a very full, impressive sound with their large band and we couldnt be happier. They went above and beyond and learned our first dance so they could play it live. Highly highly recommend! People were coming to us all night giving compliments to the band - the dance floor was full all night!

We had Kim & Co play at our dance club; the Toronto Swing Dance Society. They were super at providing a variety of music to meet our dancers needs....which can be quite specific and Kim managed to fine tune the playlist to meet our customized needs. This is not always possible from other bands. The musicians and the singers were VERY professional and skilled. We are having Kim back on Dec 8 2017 because everyone loved to dance to their music.
