We’ve been to so many weddings where the music fell flat, but ours was the complete opposite; guest after guest told us this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and I wholeheartedly believe DJ Paul was a huge part of that.

He went above and beyond to make everything perfect, checking in with me on every wild and wonderful request (including playing the national anthem; which was a first for many and such an unforgettable moment!). We booked Hot Wax to provide both DJ and photobooth services for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

DJ Mike was absolutely fantastic. He consistently chose songs that perfectly aligned with both our own music tastes and that of our guests by both using a list of top songs we provided in a pre-event survey, and by reading the reactions of the crowd throughout the night. The energy on the dancefloor never dipped. DJ Mike kept the momentum going from the first dance to the last song. Even after the lights came on, DJ Mike treated our guests to a few extra tracks by request, which was such a fun and memorable way to close out the night!

Our photobooth attendant, Keith, was equally amazing. He brought such a fun and friendly energy to the booth, helping guests use the equipment with patience and enthusiasm. Everyone had a blast taking pictures, and the experience added a wonderful interactive element to the celebration.

Paul from Hot Wax Entertainment was amazing! I had specific song requests and timings during different parts of the wedding and he nailed it. I had full confidence in his abilities. The guests also said he was the best DJ they've ever seen! Song requests were easy and Paul transitioned each song beautifully. Seriously, they are next level. DJ Paul did an amazing set at our reception. There was not a single moment when the dancefloor was empty! He brought with him an excellent sound system and extra lighting that made the dancefloor even more exciting.
We were previously in talks with another vendor who offered their services at a lower rate, however, before we could officially book with them and send a deposit, they stopped communicating with us despite multiple reach outs on my end. My experience with Hot Wax was the total opposite. Within an hour of requesting a quote, Hot Wax was in communication with me and all future communication was smooth.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with DJ Mike and Elliott. They’re clearly a seasoned professional who does this full-time—and it shows. From the moment we booked, everything was smooth and stress-free. The booking process was straightforward and communication was clear and prompt with Elliott. DJ Mike arrived on time, fully prepared.
One of the best parts was how hands-off the experience was for us. Aside from providing a few key details—like the ceremony processional/recessional order, specific song requests, and uploading an MP3 for a non-English track—there was really nothing else we needed to do. They handled everything behind the scenes, including liaising with the venue, moving the equipment from the ceremony to reception space, and we never had to worry about a thing.
The music selection that we indicated as DJ's choice was on point all night. They knew exactly how to read the room, kept the energy up, and had people on the dance floor the whole time. The sound system and lighting setup were excellent—professional quality and really added to the atmosphere.

we just got married in June 7, 2025 and we had the pleasure to have Hot Wax like vendor for our wedding. I contact Elliott the owner an year ago and since I started chatting with him he always replied to me right away even in vacation. He is a professional and sweet man. Like Dj we got Ward, who was very professional and he accomodated all our requests, he was always making sure that everthing was good. I like him a lot It seems the perfect DJ for us. LIke photobooth we go Keith a wonderful man who was so sweet and friendly with our guests. Ward and Keith went above and beyond my aspectations. Elliott was super quick to respond and we were able to work out everything needed in very short time for a very reasonable price in my opinion. Any questions that came up were addressed in minutes. DJ Mike was an absolute Joy, keeping the energy levels up the whole night and working in the (very) eclectic request list. They were very professional the entire time, set up and tore down to schedule, worked really well with our day-of coordinator, and I would highly recommend their services.

Our DJ went above and beyond to help make our wedding day incredible!!! They made sure to incorporate everything we requested!! We had Karaoke at our wedding and working with the DJ he made it go flawlessly!! Absolutely amazing!
