Our DJ went above and beyond to help make our wedding day incredible!!! They made sure to incorporate everything we requested!! We had Karaoke at our wedding and working with the DJ he made it go flawlessly!! Absolutely amazing!

Elliott responded to our request right away and DJ James was amazing. Kept the dance floor packed the entire night and we couldn't be happier with choosing Hot Wax Entertainment for our wedding. We had multiple guests ask us where we found the DJ and would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for their upcoming wedding/event.

The Gig Bar and Photobooth were a huge hit at our wedding. Mike did an exceptional job DJ'ing, and Keith was a huge help manning the photobooth. The music selection was 10/10, setup/take down were fast, and we received many compliments from our guests towards them both.

Could not have asked for anything more! Elliott was responsive from the start. Always answering emails in a timely manner and was quick to be flexible with any unique ideas or changes we had. Our DJ, Paul, was amazing! He read the room so well. He was great at announcements and checked in on us throughout the night. They were so easy going and everything was seamless.

We couldn't be happier with the service we got from Hot Wax. Elliott was more than happy to talk with us over the phone multiple times to explain the entire process to us, as well as give us advice for the decisions we were less confident about. He as also very quick to respond via email for every little question we had. Our DJ Paul was very efficient and accommodating, even helping the bride and her friends put on a special a cappella performance during the reception. I'd highly recommend Hot Wax to anyone.

We hired Hotwax as our wedding DJ and it was the best decision we made! Elliott (owner) was extremely helpful and had a rapid response rate, helping to coordinate the event details painlessly. DJ James was absolutely fantastic on the day of the wedding and all of the music played during the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went seamlessly. We got married at the UBC Boathouse and Hot Wax was one of a few endorsed DJs. After working with them, it is no surprise why they are endorsed by so many venues and are hired for so many events. On the day of, we had DJ Chuck, who was friendly, responsive, and flexible. We had a few older guests who were sensitive to sound as well as children, who had unique song requests. He worked with us in making everyone happy (and threw in "I like to move it" from Madagascar for my 3.5 year old niece). I can't speak highly enough of Elliott, DJ Chuck, and the Hot Wax Team. I highly recommend them for anyone getting married.
