I couldn’t recommend Sorrentino’s enough. We go to the restaurant frequently so that was why we decided to choose them as a vendor for our wedding. The team was great to work with, we met with them a few times and went over what we wanted and boy did they deliver. We decided to go with a buffet style meal with a pasta bar. Guests also were able to choose salads, different proteins and seasonal vegetables. They also went out of their way to make our midnight snack of wood fire pizza and it was beyond amazing. I have had so many people reach out and tell me it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding and I agree.
Working with the team was easy & the food was fantastic. If you love Italian food like I do, this is the way to go!!

WOW. Everyone loooved dinner and the desserts they brought. Food was phenomenal and pricing was right on point. The staff was so great with checking in on guests during dinner.

Sorrentino's responded to all changes and inquires immediately, and made the entire process simple and easy. The price was great too. The chef gave great recommendations as I was unsure of what I wanted for the meal, and every single guest loved the food. Everybody clapped for Chef Doug when he left haha.

My wife and I recently had a mid-sized wedding for approximately 130 people. We began planning 1.5 years ago and initially arrived at Characters, a former downtown Edmonton restaurant. Unfortunately, mere months before our date, Characters abruptly cancelled on us. Fortunately, this was a blessing in disguise. We contacted Sorrentino's, where we had enjoyed a couple meals in the past. We were warmly welcomed by Michael Sayde, the General Manager, who invited us to tour the restaurant and to sample multiple meals. At no point did we feel pressured into choosing their venue, but at all times we were greeted with a complimentary prosecco. The environment was warm, but the service was warmer, and as such we selected Sorrentino's Downtown for our wedding reception.

Over the coming months, we worked closely with Michael and his wonderful staff. Joon Kim the Events Coordinator and Chef Alberto Alboreggia were a pleasure to work with. They were always accommodating and allowed us to transform both the space and the meal into our ideal wedding day experience.

On the day of the wedding, the reception moved forward flawlessly. The food was outstanding, with the risotto in particular being hailed by all of the guests. All four of the options for main courses were praised as well. The service was exceptional with the waiting staff stealthily serving between speeches, and constantly keeping wine-glasses full. And at the end of the night, we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the cost was. Reflecting back on the experience, we would provide the utmost recommendation to Sorrentino's and their team and look forward to many meals there in the future.
