Cindy and Morgan were an absolute pleasure to work with. We gave them a picture of what we were looking for in a wedding cake and they delivered above and beyond what we expected. They were so knowledgeable and professional and helped us through planning every little detail, making sure there was enough cake to go around. They even made amazing suggestions like splitting up the different tiers of cakes into different flavours so that there was something all of our guests could enjoy. And the most important part of all is that all our guests raved about how delicious it was. We’ll definitely be talking to the team at the Bake Shoppe again in the future to order cakes for our special events.

These guys are so awesome to work with. They had a wide variety of options for any budget, we really flexible up to very close to the wedding (we had to make a change a few weeks out and they were cool with it) and were very very affordable.

One of the easier descisions of our wedding planning process. Cindy, worked with us from afar through emails and everything was so beautiful and delicious. I was in the market for a simple, elegant, yet delicious wedding cake. I looked at other vendors, but nothing that stuck out as the style of cake I wanted for our wedding. I had heard a lot about "The Wedding Cake Shoppe" in the press, but figured they would be too busy and too expensive to make our cake. Luckily, they responded quickly and were able to accommodate us. I purchased a "sampler" box of cupcakes, as my fiance (now husband) and I were not able to book a time for a traditional cake tasting. The cakes were all delicious. We ended up choosing a devils food chocolate cake and vanilla bean icing (my husband prefers likes simpler flavours). We had a smaller wedding, so we chose a two tiered cake (so that the top could be saved for our anniversary). The buttercream was nicely iced with a ribbon-type texture, and I had our florist provide us with some sprigs of greenery (at the suggestion of the The Wedding Cake Shoppe) to get the look of the Pinterest inspiration cake. Gorgeous and delicious! The Shoppe was always responsive, friendly and professional in correspondence - a defiant recommend!

We went with a sweetheart cake. We sent photos of styles we liked and they were able to provide us with clear details on price points. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and prompt. The cake looked beautiful and was delicious.

Hands down the best cake we've ever had, including feedback from my guests! My dad and I don't have a sweet tooth, but we both could not stop eating this cake! I love the way they make it, I like the texture and level of sweetness, its just right! and my husband and I tried other cake vendors in Toronto but none came close! The only critical feedback I have is that they could be more organized with their order form, maybe it was just a one of, and other than that we didn't really get one of the colors we requested on the cake, not sure if thats because they couldn't make it exactly as we wanted it. But other than that, everything else came out perfectly! When I do go back to Toronto, I will be visiting again! :)

We had a great experience working with Cindy on our wedding cake! She was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. We had lots of options and designs to choose from, and the shoppe provided lots of delicious samples. Our final wedding cake looked fantastic, and more importantly, was delicious! Everyone loved it!

I highly recommend The Wedding Cake Shoppe for the wedding cake of your dreams! I had collected dozens of Pinterest inspiration photos, and was able to take them to Cindy who put them all together into the most beautiful custom wedding cake that was exactly what I had envisioned! All of my guests were ooh-ing and ah-ing over how gorgeous it looked! Cindy was also very accommodating with last minute changes to the design, size, etc., and throughout the whole process she was very responsive in communicating with me and providing all the information I needed. The delivery was right on time, and everything was setup exactly as specified with the cake toppers and cake stands. Oh, and the cake tasted delicious too!

The Wedding Cake Shoppe made the most beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding. Picking a cake was fun and easy and they provided a take home sampling platter so I could taste test at home with friends and family. I provided some pictures of what I wanted and they created a masterpiece. The cake was so good, we brought out left overs at the day-after Brunch so the guests could keep eating it!
