I found Lisa through our venue’s (WaterStone Estate & Farms) preferred list of vendors. The fact that she is local to the New Market area and has glowing reviews won us over. She is home based and we knew we wanted to support someone local for our wedding this past October 2022. Her cakes and sweets are so yummy and she does an amazing job putting things out on display and working with the décor you have. She does all the delivery and setup too. And her prices are more than fair considering how much milk, butter and eggs cost!!! Not only did she go above and beyond but she worked with our venue to make it all happen. Best decision was hiring her to do our wedding cake! She also provided some boxes for our guests to take leftovers but our wedding cake, cupcakes and cake pops were devoured on site! The guests loved everything! We are so glad we went with our fave: lemon raspberry and Lisa added coconut as it’s my hubby’s fave and it was so good! We would highly recommend booking Lisa for your wedding or big event! Her sweets are so good! And she is so lovely inside and out!

Working with Lisa was so easy! She had so many flavour and dessert options and she was great at being honest about how much we would need.
We had 125 guests and we wanted to keep the top layer so Lisa suggested a 3 tier cake, on top of the cake pops, and cupcakes, we ordered. It was incredible we had 4 pieces of cake left over and 3 cupcakes everyone raved about how good it all was

I was scared because I never got to meet with Cakeoholics in person. However, the cake was fantastic and she was so very nice and professional! I sent her a photo off of pinterest and she was able to create exactly what I was looking for! It was beautiful and tasted amazing!

As I (the bride) and a few of our friends and family are gluten sensitive, we wanted to find a cake and sweets vendor who could provide a smaller quantity of GF options as well as "regular" items for the majority of the attendees. My husband and step-kids sampled the "regular" items from a few different vendors and I sampled the gluten free, and Cakeaholics came out the winner for taste and texture. Lisa provided a lovely array of sweets for our sweets table. Our six-inch gluten free topper, true to our vision, was decorated with florals provided by our florist. It was simple and elegant, and just what we were hoping for.

I had a vision and explained it to Lisa. She NAILED IT!!! It was gorgeous, exactly how we wanted it and the topper was awesome! The cake was delicious and EVERYONE thought it was a decoration- it was so perfect-looking! She accommodated us, delivering it to the schooner at the Harbourfront on time.
