Beautiful inside and out

Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and tasted even better than it looked! It was beautifully decorated and so delicious — guests kept coming back for seconds. One of our favorite touches is that we can order a fresh anniversary cake instead of freezing the top tier. Such a thoughtful detail and a perfect way to celebrate all over again!

Wedding cake and wedding favours

Cindy was wonderful to go over our cake options with us over webex since we were from out of town. We did end up coming in and tried the cake sample box to test different flavours for our wedding cake. We opted for the french vanilla cake with lemon lime frosting. It was sooo very delicious and a very big hit at the wedding with all of our guests, not to mention the exceptional decorating skills with the sugar flowers!! Cindy even made us some gluten free cupcakes for those with intolerances. She made us wedding party favours with macarons and meringues which were also great! And she set it all up for us at the venue! We definitely recommend her services to anyone who is getting married!!!

Amazing Wedding Cake Vendor

Cindy was amazing! She did our wedding cake and we got nothing but great reviews on the look and taste! We also had some GF cupcakes that were “one of the best GF cupcakes they have ever had!” (Wedding Guest). Highly recommend! Thanks Cindy!

Wedding cake of our dreams

Cindy provided us with the most incredible wedding cake that was customized to us and had everything that we asked for. Her attention to detail made this cake a true piece of art and we could not be happier. The sugar flowers were perfect and we are excited to keep a few as a keep sake from the day. We also couldn't stop eating the cake after.... it was so delicious! Thank you Cindy for a beautiful job- we will be ordering from you in the future!

Best Gluten-Free Cake Ever!

We hired Cindy because of her ability to make gluten free wedding cakes that didn't break the budget! She provided us with samples so we could select what flavours we wanted for our cake. She also asked about our vision and provided her with inspiration photos so she could make us an amazing cake that was perfect for us!

Highly recommend!


I would recommend Chartier Specialty Sweets to anyone! The process of cake tasting was unique but worked wonderfully with the take-home boxes to mix-and-match icings and cake flavors. Cindy was extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted for our cake, and she helped by going through different designs and helped us understand what our options were. And of course the cake was delicious. The icing was so smooth and light! Thank you Chartier Cakes!

great customer service and cake

We got a cake from Chartier YYC for our wedding on November 18. The cake and cupcakes tasted so good, it was the right amount of sweet and savoury. I really struggled finding a wedding cake that wasn't overly sweet and Cindy's was the only one in Calgary that exceeded my expectation.

Throughout the whole process, Cindy was quick to reply to our phone calls and emails and answer any questions. I am so happy that Chartier YYC provided the desserts for my wedding and everyone enjoyed it. Once you order the cake you don't have to worry about set up, as Cindy makes sure that it is all done on time. Thank you Cindy for making our dream day Perfect

Incredible doesn't cover it!!

Cindy is phenomenal to work with. From the tasting to the design to the finished cake and cupcakes.... perfect!
Everyone raved about not only the taste but also the artistry of each cupcake and the cake was.. wow!! The personalized topper, as well as our initials and the stunning flowers that we can keep for years as our momento - these touches are what makes you shine!

Delicious cake!

We had our wedding cake with Chartier and it was amazing! Great price and so delicious. We had three layers with the top layer a vegan one! All our guests told us that it was the best wedding cake they ever had!
