Caitlin at Dufflet on Yonge helped us pick the perfect cake. She made recommendations based on the look we were going for and the time of year, etc. We did a taste testing and ended up doing a Pink Velvet/Vanilla mix. We served the cake as the dessert at our wedding and it was an absolute hit. The Pink Velvet was so good I think a bridesmaid actually stole a bite off my new husbands' plate!
Dufflet Pastries's reply:
Hi Erika and thanks so much for your kind words - we're delighted that you (and your sneaky bridesmaid) enjoyed our Pink Velvet wedding cake. Wishing you much happiness! - Gina

For my wedding cake Dufflets was a must! My parents got their wedding cake from Dufflets (Uptown) in 1984 and I wanted to continue that tradition. I didn't even bother looking into other bakeries and I really didn't need to. Dufflets was incredible, they took their time during the consultation (for both our engagement party and wedding cakes!), and the provided multiple options. They were flexible and worked with my overall vision of the cake. The consultant at Dufflets even went so far as to arrange the delivery herself with our venue, they made sure it would arrive in pristine condition and that I would have nothing to worry about. Upon seeing it for the first time I was floored! It was so gorgeous and detailed, not to mention delicious! I am not much into dessert but I had 2 slices that night!! Dufflets does an incredibly thorough job, their work is impeccably, and their staff is amazing. They delivered in 1984 and they continue to impress in 2017.

We went to the Yonge/Eglinton store. We absolutely loved our cake! There were so many styles to choose from which were all beautiful. We got the 4 tier with pink velvet and golden cake with strawberries, which was delicious. Our guests were raving about the cake and would ask where it was from. The staff helped me take care of contacting my venue to ask about when they could deliver. This was one of the easiest things to cross off my list. Thank you for everything! Can't wait to have some more cake when I unfreeze the top tier on our anniversary.

Dufflet Pastries on Queen St. West was very helpful in helping us with selecting our wedding cake. Our friend Gavin works there, and he made the process very easy during our consultation. We gave him an estimate of the number of guests we were expecting and told him what we wanted in terms of style. Just a simple cake, not too much decoration. We looked at a binder in the shop and decided on the look. We tasted some samples and picked different flavours for each layer. Then we picked some mini-cakes to go with it, as we thought the cake wouldn't be enough. The order was straightforward and we picked it up ourselves on the Saturday before our wedding Sunday morning. At the wedding, dessert was also provided as part of the meal we had selected, so the dessert spread combined with the cakes gave our guests plenty to choose from. There were countless compliments about the cake tasting very good compared to other wedding cakes, so great job to the bakers! All around a great experience with Dufflet.
