Lainey and the rest of the team at L'Abattoir went above and beyond for our wedding. We held our ceremony and reception there in May 2023 and everything was just perfect. From the day we viewed the venue, until we left the reception, the staff treated us with a professionalism and kindness that went above and beyond. Not only did they help us organize our day, but they were just as excited for us to walk down the aisle as we were. Our guests raved about the space, and several mentioned that it was the best meal they've ever had. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate wedding.

This space was perfect for our 41 guests. It's in a building off the back of the restaurant so it felt very private and intimate.
The events team (Lainey) was very responsive and flexible through the planning process (we did not have a wedding planner). Emma, the service lead, went above and beyond to make sure everything went well on the day of.
The food and wine were fantastic (which was no surprise from L'Abattoir).
We were thrilled with the value for money and truly had a 5 star experience.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding at L'Abattoir restaurant on a Saturday in March, and we cannot thank the team enough for making our special day truly magical.

Although we didn't get to interact with all of the staff on a first-name basis, we want to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone at L'Abattoir! Emma, Yang, Sarah – you are magical humans who will forever hold a warm place in our wedding day memories. Lainey, you are an organizational machine, and we felt like you played the wedding planner consultant role that we didn't actually have. Thank you all.

The team at L'Abattoir was incredibly responsive and flexible. We called them from Home Depot, and they were more than willing to pick up and measure beams to ensure the zap straps we were looking at would fit perfectly. The setup was a breeze, and the service staff were like mind readers – knowing exactly when we needed a glass of wine or a lint roller.

We planned our wedding ourselves without a wedding planner, and we felt that Lainey and Emma were so organized and experienced. They knew the little nooks and crannies of both the space and the process of planning an event, providing guidance on par with that of a professional wedding planner. They were empathetic humans who clearly love what they do, which came through in the service staff's interactions with us and all of our guests. It was clear that they were having fun.

We had just under 50 people and found the space very flexible despite its long and narrow layout. The team helped us set up for the ceremony, reception, and dancing. The food was delicious and came out with impeccable timing.

The team also allows you to go through a rehearsal, and we highly recommend using it. Bring everyone in your wedding party who has a role or responsibility – it will help you keep your bearings on the day of.

This review is long overdue as our lives got a little hectic, but it's so important to share our experience. We apologize for the delay, but we’re doing it now because it’s worth it! What an incredible experience – amazing value for what you get.

Overall, it was the best day of our lives, and we are so grateful to L'Abattoir for making it perfect.

We stated arranging our wedding only three weeks in advance. L'Abattoir staff are very responsive and accommodating on our last-minute changes and requirements. They had plenty of experiences arranging and assisting the ceremony and reception which lent us strong supports on making the whole process smooth and effortless. For the reception in particular, you cannot find more meticulous and professional team than the crew here. The chefs and cooks in the kitchen prepared amazing food with large portions and delicious tastes. I would highly recommend this place for an intimate and lovely wedding or any events that you wish to be mesmerizing. And for the very last, their wine recommendation is top notch. The Chianti Reserva and Gruner Veltliner wines got us lots praises from our guests: excellent quality based on professional opinions from wine somms.

Lainey was super helpful throughout the entire process and made it easy for us to plan our special day. Yang and Emma provided wonderful service during the dinner and took care of our guests so warmly and wholeheartedly. Everyone was raving about the food and the menu choices. A lot of our guests were from the States and said the food and the restaurant itself was one of a kind. We had an amazing experience with the team and would highly recommend this place!

From the planning to the execution, L'Abattoir was supportive, accommodating, and might I say incredibly professional.

Lainey, from the moment we came to view the space, exhibited much patience and creative gusto that truly helped aid in the planning phase of our wedding.

The food was OUTSTANDING, which was no surprise to us. But, what shone brightly on the day was the ever-dedicated service from the hospitality staff we received. We were never without drink or left feeling unattended and anticipation of needs were met above and beyond our expectations.

Although this review comes almost a year post-wedding, the delayed praise of service is truly rightfully owed. My wife and I plan to visit for our first anniversary to celebrate where the magic of our wedding happened.

We are extremely happy we chose L’abattoir for our wedding reception. The stuff was amazing, their professionalism was exceptional starting with the planning. They paid attention to every little detail and made sure that everything is perfect on the wedding day. The communication was very smooth. The dinner itself was great, they made everyone feel special. Food was spectacular as always, our guest were very happy, even the kids! Bartender and servers were exceptionally attentive to everyone. Special thank you to Blair, he took care of the issue that unexpectedly happened momentarily! Overall everything was great, we highly recommend this restaurant !
