Lainey and the rest of the team at L'Abattoir went above and beyond for our wedding. We held our ceremony and reception there in May 2023 and everything was just perfect. From the day we viewed the venue, until we left the reception, the staff treated us with a professionalism and kindness that went above and beyond. Not only did they help us organize our day, but they were just as excited for us to walk down the aisle as we were. Our guests raved about the space, and several mentioned that it was the best meal they've ever had. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate wedding. -

Thank you for a fantastic evening!
Had our wedding this past summer, and everything about it was so memorable, easy, organized, detail- oriented, and impressive. From the beginning, they set themselves apart from the other contenders we had in mind- Lainey was professional, prompt, detail-oriented, and attentive. We didn’t have a wedding planner, and somehow, with Lainey’s extremely organized questions, pdfs, and prompts, we were able to do it all.
Tasha was fantastic at helping us organize the ceremony at the rehearsal, and had some wonderful tips on how to run it smoothly. Despite many last minute incidents that made our ceremony run super late, they were able to adjust the dinner schedule with ease and utmost professionalism.
Hamid was wonderful at making sure that every little aspect of the reception ran smoothly, and so kindly accommodated some last minute requests to make our wedding even more memorable.
Thank you so much to all of the L’Abattoir staff for an unforgettable evening. -

The staff at L'Abattoir were all exceptional in all phases of our wedding journey.
In planning, we communicated with Laney who was highly responsive, outgoing, professional, and detail-oriented. She explained everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions throughout the process without making us feel silly for asking.
At the rehearsal and on the day of, we were taken care of by Tasha, Arshan, as well as other service staff. They were welcoming, organized, and proactive. Our entire wedding party and all guests enjoyed every moment of the ceremony and dinner with nothing left to be desired. We also privately communicated a budget expectation prior to dinner and the service team did an amazing job at respecting that budget discreetly.
The food and beverages were highly popular as well! Even more, all of our guests left full and happy! They were so happy that several of our guests had made a point to compliment the kitchen staff downstairs and we are still receiving compliments on our menu choices a week post-wedding. The kitchen staff were able to accomodate some unique allergies among our guests, and when one of our guests suddenly could not attend, they showed great consideration by packing their meal to-go so that their partner could bring it home for them to enjoy later.
It was a dream wedding experience through and through. We couldn't be happier with how things went thanks to the L'Abattoir team and we look forward to dining with them again in the future! -

We had a wonderful experience hosting our cozy 46 people wedding reception at L'Abbatoir's Private Dining Room. The dining room is in a separate building behind the restaurant itself. Downstairs is the kitchen and upstairs is the dining area. The dining room has a gorgeous mix of old style brick and modern glass and lighting. The courtyard just outside gave us a warm and elegant backdrop for couple photos and with our guests.
In the months leading up to the big day, we were supported by their event team coordinator, Lainey, who was incredibly professional and organized and provided valuable feedback to help our timeline. She handled all of my ideas and updates with ease, making the process of planning the wedding so much easier on me. Peter, the head sommelier, who guided our initial site visit and subsequent "trial" dinner was warm and friendly and provided recommendations that ultimately led to our final wine selection that we loved. The venue staff on the day of were accommodating and kind, helping us store items from our pre-reception event and even delivering canapes for key wedding party members who were too busy running around during cocktail hour to eat.
The food was absolutely delicious and was one of the biggest reasons we decided to host our reception here. We loved that guests were able to select their options for each course on the day of, as that reduced the amount of RSVP handling we had to do. We're so happy we held our wedding at L'Abbatoir and would happily come back for dinner again soon. -

We held our wedding dinner/reception at L'Abbatoir, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was amazing & beautifully presented. The service was warm, attentive, and seamless from start to finish, making everyone feel well taken care of. The team (Lainey, Hamid and Tasha) was also incredibly responsive throughout the planning process & event, making everything easy and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend L'Abbatoir for any special occasion! -

We truly could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the very beginning of the planning process, Lainey was amazing to work with. She was responsive, organized, and always willing to answer questions. Tasha was equally incredible, providing exceptional support during both our rehearsal and wedding day. Her professionalism, calm presence, friendliness, and attention to detail made everything feel effortless and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment. Their flexibility, care, and commitment to creating a truly memorable experience did not go unnoticed.
The food and beverages were absolutely outstanding. We received countless compliments from our guests, many of whom commented on how exceptional every course was. The quality, presentation, and service exceeded all expectations. The serving staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the celebration.
We feel incredibly grateful and blessed to have celebrated our wedding there. The team's dedication, hospitality, and attention to every detail made our day unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at L’Abattoir for helping create memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. -

We hosted an intimate family ceremony and celebratory dinner afterwards in the private dining room for our wedding. Truly nothing but good things to say about our experience, from proactive communication, thoughtful support planning, flexibility with our desired plans, immaculate service and food for dinner and a 0 stress day of thanks to Lainey and the execution team’s support.
