Granary Road offers the Stable Gardens as a wedding venue & I would truly avoid getting married here like the plague. We were met with nothing but lies, deceit, lack of communication and no organization and complete and utter lack of professionalism. We ultimately decided to cancel our wedding and forfeit our deposit because of the lies, miscommunication, consistent coming and going of event coordinators and so much more. We just couldn’t handle it. Very thankful we did. Unfortunately my cousin was not lucky enough to cancel his wedding here and we attended his wedding, and though the wedding was beautiful ( no thanks to granary road) we could barely hear the ceremony over children screaming at the park next to the ceremony space and the constant tinkering of toys amongst other things. My cousins have a list of their own issues but that’s there story to tell. As far as “partnered” vendors for the venue, when we reached out to book with them they had nothing but complaints about the venue themselves. And when we moved venues, they chose to come with us and still be at our wedding at no extra charge. In conclusion- very shady, SUPER over priced for a glorified shack & shed for the bridal party. I would steer clear. We were lied too, shoved under the rug, misinformed and quite honestly not e know exactly why. We resigned our contact with them after dropping out once because of many concerns, we were tricked into thinking the venue was growing and changing, they chose to honour our original prince instead of charging us upwards of 3-5000. They simply weren’t making enough money off of us, so they didn’t care. Avoid, avoid, AVOID.
