With a dream renovation completed Spring 2025, we are pleased to offer a full service wedding and events model to the market for discerning couples.

VENUE INFORMATION
Located on the back of the beautiful Bow River, Sugar Pine Island is located in the picturesque valley of the Foothills as part of the exclusive Cottonwood Golf & Country Club.
Located on a seperate private and exclusive "island", Sugar Pine is comprised of two adjoining indoor event spaces, both the Birch and Maple rooms offer a beautiful and neutral setting for any wedding design palette of celebrations up to 220 guests.
A beautifully manicured courtyard and garden provides the perfect natural backdrop for stunning outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, lawn games and custom entertainment opportunities. The Poplar Suite offers a "getting ready" space for wedding parties complete with dedicated hair and make-up stations.
Sugar Pine Island is the perfect, private backdrop for discerning couples seeking to celebrate with distinction.

Beyond Our Expectations: Sugar Pine Was Unforgettable!
Michaelle and her team were exceptional from day one. Their professionalism, warmth, and experience made the entire planning process seamless. They welcomed us for site visits, kept us up to date on renovations, and made sure every detail was taken care of leading up to the big day.
On our wedding day, everything ran flawlessly. The outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous, and when a rainstorm rolled in just before dinner, the transition indoors was smooth and stress-free. The rainbow that followed created some of our favourite photos. Guests are still raving about the food; many said it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding.
The Poplar Bridal Suite was the perfect getting-ready space for the bridal party, and the team kept everyone comfortable with food and drinks. From rehearsal to last call, we felt supported and celebrated.
We feel so grateful to have been one of the first weddings in the new space. The property is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the team is truly second to none. Choosing Sugar Pine was one of the best decisions we made—second only to saying “I do.”

Even though it rained and we couldn't go onto the grass we had amazing staff leading us to some beautiful areas around the course and the island to take our wedding photos.
The food was also on everyone's mind - the chef did a beautiful job with all the courses - the rack of lamb was to die for.
