Central Alberta's only industrial-chic wedding venue, 52 North was custom-built for couples who want a wedding that's truly unique and unforgettable. Set on a stunning 7-acre wooded property, 52 North pairs natural beauty with a bold, unexpected aesthetic that you won't find anywhere else in the province. More than just a venue, it's a wedding destination — complete with two dedicated wedding party prep suites, on-site accommodations, and the option to celebrate until 3 AM. At 52 North, there's no pressure — just a full weekend to enjoy, cherish, and celebrate with the people who matter most.
Facilities and Capacity
Begin your day getting ready in one of two dedicated wedding party prep suites, before exchanging vows in one of our intimate outdoor ceremony spaces nestled among towering trees and a winding creek — a naturally beautiful backdrop that makes for stunning photos and a truly memorable moment. Then step inside to a stunning industrial-chic reception space that seats up to 200 guests, featuring soaring ceilings, a feature brick wall, and handcrafted wood tables — a beautiful canvas that works dressed up with florals, draping, and romantic lighting, or kept clean and minimal.

Services Offered
The on-site team at 52 North handles all set-up and clean-up so the couple and wedding party can focus entirely on enjoying the celebration. Outside vendors are welcome with no additional fees, and a trusted preferred vendor list is available to help connect couples with some of Alberta's best wedding professionals.

Kat & Devon were a pleasure to work with on every occasion; from our first venue tour, to multiple open houses where we had opportunities to bring our party & photographer to see the venue, to our big day. They helped create the perfect seating chart and the venue’s rentable decorations pulled our vision together. They were more than happy to help us accommodate changes to make our day perfect.
Lori and Allen, the property managers, were absolutely amazing the entire wedding weekend. We can’t thank them enough for being so accommodating and willing to wait until the last second to make an inclement weather call to move the ceremony inside, and they managed to set up and pull off our dream outdoor ceremony so swiftly we barely noticed when the rain magically stopped just in time! They even thought to put out blankets for our guests in case they were chilly.
The 52 North team absolutely made our weekend one to remember. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about what an incredible venue it was. We had the perfect day! Thank you!
It was a fairytale
With all the research I did when looking for a venue NOTHING came close to 52North. Through Kat and Devon’s hard work they have thought of every possible thing you and your guests could need, as well as being extremely helpful with any questions and always being very responsive. They have truly created the perfect venue.

Meet the team
Katrina and Devon are the husband and wife team that own and operate 52 North. Their collective knowledge and experience in event production, trades, sound design and music played a major role in the creation of the venue and everything it has to offer.
Both born and raised in Central Alberta, Devon and Kat met at Red Deer College studying music. They've grown into a family of 5 (or 6 if you count their dog Nash!)
Providing a luxury wedding experience is their top priority.
