Honour and Blessing Events is the brainchild of two professional and experienced wedding planners called Joanna and Sarah. They are luxury wedding planners in Vancouver with a timeless, refined, and elegant style. The duo will help you with every single detail of your wedding to make it a unique and an unforgettable event. They undertake a select number of weddings per year in order to offer full dedication and high quality service to each and every couple they work with. As a sister team, they create bespoke weddings for their couples and only take a select number of weddings per year. They like to get to know their couples and what they are envisioning so that they can create the dream wedding.
Services offered
The duo at Honour and Blessing Events understands every couple's individual needs and desires regarding their wedding planning and coordination. In order to satisfy everyone, they offer three different wedding packages for you to choose from according to your budget size. They include:
- Full wedding coordination: from invitations to wedding favours, everything will be covered by them. They'll take charge of the vendors, venue, dress, theme, design, logistics and everything else so that you can concentrate on yourself only.
- Intimate weddings: if you are looking to have a initimate wedding with 10-20 guests, they would love to help you plan this special occasion.
- Events: from proposals to baby showers, they would love to help you plan and design your special celebration!

With the help of Sarah and Joanna, my Fiancé managed to surprise me with the proposal of my dreams (and it’s extremely hard to surprise me). Sarah and Joanna are very knowledgeable in what they do, they are respectful to your opinion, at the same time they offer great suggestions. They are exceptionally good at minding small details, collaborating with them will definitely put your mind at ease as they will provide you with as much information as they can. Anything you entrust to them, they will go above and beyond your expectations. My Fiancé didn’t have much to worry about (except the actual proposal), Sarah and Joanna made sure everything was in place before we arrived. They also recommended florist and photographer, which we absolutely loved, now we have photos to remember this moment forever.

Joanna and Sarah made my wedding day and even the months before that run smoothly. The two of them make such a great team because they complement each other so well. They made the wedding process from vendor selecting to decor so simple. When you work with the two sisters, you can see that they love what they do and they will always make you feel like the start of the show. Without the two of them, my wedding would have been a nightmare and I would have been a Bridezilla. But Joanna and Sarah did an amazing job for my winter wedding that I was a very happy bride and I couldn't have asked for more!

What makes Sarah and Joanna unique compared to other wedding planners is the dynamic between the two of them. Very rarely will you see two sisters, both with the same passion for wedding planning, commitment to top quality service, that are constantly on the same wave length. This was very beneficial during the planning stage and even more so on the wedding day. I can hardly remember a hick up on that day and it wasn't because there weren't any, but Sarah and Joanna took care of it before my wife and I noticed. Like the bible says "two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour". God bless these two sisters. I highly recommend them!

From the planning of the wedding, setting up meetings with the vendors, to the actual wedding itself, Effervescence Wedding has been highly efficient and professional with their service. I couldn't believe how relaxed I was through the entire planning process. Everything was well prepared and it was almost as if all I had to do was to show up on the wedding day. Being of Chinese background, there were also many traditions that I didn't even know about, but this was all taken care of by Effervescence Wedding. Their entire planning of the wedding also took well consideration of both my wife's and my parents' preference in creating the best wedding. It would have been a disaster trying to organize this by myself and I am so glad that I made the decision of having Effervescence Wedding take care of the planning process.

Joanna and Sarah are the best wedding planners and coordinators EVER. I remember how much I panicked when I first realized that I only had a little bit more than three months to plan my wedding from NOTHING. I didn't know what I was supposed to do and felt pretty lost. And then, I found Joanna and Sarah.
From the very beginning, they were there to give me ideas about what kind of wedding I should have, and guided me to pick the theme colours, which at the end really fit the wedding so beautifully. I have to say, they have an admirable taste for fashion. They also did a lot of research on different vendors for photography, videography and decoration, and narrowed them down to just few good choices for me according to my preference. This saved me from the trouble of having to go through hundreds of vendors out there on the internet. They arranged each meeting with different vendors and accompanied me to meet them in person. They also spent lots and lots of hours on making the very detailed schedule of what EVERYBODY involved in the wedding had to do from a few weeks before the wedding till the day of.
I can't fully describe how grateful I am to have their help for the most important day of my life. My wedding was so beautiful and everything was arranged just the way I wanted. Thanks to Joanna and Sarah for all the effort into making my Big day so wonderful and unforgettable.

Joanna and Sarah went far above and beyond our expectations with daily meetings and telecoms, making themselves available whenever required, while assisting us with such things as making adorable party favors and researching our vendors. They provided us a myriad of options and used their extensive knowledge and experience in guiding us with our decisions in choosing things such as decor, florist, and even in very details things; this is just a sample of what Joanna and Sarah can offer and is capable of. Essentially, we planned our whole wedding in about three-month time and it turned out as perfectly as envisioned.
Joanna's and Sarah's top-notch organizational skills, detail-oriented and 'on-top-of-it-all-under-control' personality made us worry nothing throughout the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, On our big day, the venue was beautifully decorated and the whole event was delivered spectacularly. Everything looked so impossibly perfect on the day and we were blown away. Joanna and Sarah have great contacts, energy, and flare for wedding planning and ensure all is coordinated with military precision.
