While I did most of the wedding planning myself, I needed someone outside of the wedding party to help execute the timeline and making sure that all the vendors were on time, etc. Laura helped us, with Joanne, to make sure EVERYTHING went smoothly at the wedding. I never realized there were issues at all during my wedding, and I was able to FULLY enjoy the day. I could not thank her enough! If you are ever doubting it you need a day of coordinator or not.....DEFINITELY INVEST IN ONE. 10/10 would hire her and her amazing team!! :)

We were very lucky to have worked with Laura. We were a bride and groom that really had no preference. We were very “sure, looks good” and “ya, whatever” kind of people. She managed to get that attitude to work and help create a wedding day that could have been” meh” into “Whoa, this is great!” From the ceremony to the reception we had given very generic instructions, answers and details. So, to have walked into the church with everything ready to go from the flowers, to the tissues to the sponsors having their items, was just a surprise. She made it possible. Then when we walked into the venue, WOW. She and her assistants did an amazing job at adding all our little wants and making sure it was beautiful, and it really was!

In terms of the planning she made a very stressful event not stressful. We had multiple meetings that she always catered to my schedule, she gave homework that helped breakdown the “to-do list” into more manageable items and she would give reminders that were much needed closer to the wedding date. We had hired her for day -of coordination but even before the month when she took over she was still so helpful and was a great help in planning. To give you an example of how Laura is, I had a vendor who would not answer emails on time and, she went out of her way to schedule a face to face meeting and we got to talk it out, and we all walked away with all our questions answered. We were also stuck on who to be a videographer and she came through with a referral and what ended up being an amazing choice !

If her organisation and attention to detail are not enough reasons to choose her and Effervescent Events, then know that she will always look out for your best interests put your needs first. Throughout the planning and even on the wedding day she made sure to always check up on us and assure us that if something wasn’t going right that something could be done. She was a very calming influence! When everyone was doing there own thing getting ready, Laura was there to ask if everything ok. I wanted to play dominoes before leaving for the church, others were like “really?” but she was like “whatever keeps her calm.” When there was a hiccup at the reception (no fault of hers, at all!) she did not seem fazed at all. She handled the hiccup with such calm and control that it carried over to how I reacted. People expected me to be less composed, but I had it together because Laura had it together! She came up with actual solutions and said everything right, so I wouldn’t freak out more.

Thank you to Laura and all the assistants. You guys did an amazing job and made the whole day run so smoothly and all the guests you had conversations with had great things to say. Even though this review is almost done there’s still so much I could write about how you really made a difference that day! The day good have just been “ya, whatever” but it was far from it!!! Chloe and Laura was absolutely incredible! We hired them as our Day-of-Coordinators and it was the bests decision ever. Chloe was very organized and responsive. She took over about a month before the wedding, but even prior to that, she was always available when we had questions or needed suggestions during the planning process. A few weeks before the wedding, she confirmed with all the vendors and coordinated arrival/set-up times with up. She also drafted up a very DETAILED schedule which was super helpful! In fact, our wedding ended up being way ahead of schedule almost the whole way through because we were able to be so organized. I had lots of time to relax and really take in the day. I keep on telling people how smoothly everything went, but I know it was because Chloe fixed all the hiccups that came up on the day before we even got wind of it. Her and Laura also did all the set-up and take-down which was greatly appreciated because we had a lot of decor! We never had to worry about a thing and make everything so seamless!

Lastly, I just want to comment on how personable and friendly they both were. Both our families loved them too! My mom told me afterwards that Chloe had helped her carry all the presents and other items to her car at the end of the night. It's the little things like that which makes them so awesome!

We highly recommend effervescent events! We hired Chloe and Laura as day-of wedding coordinators so that we could sit back and actually enjoy our wedding. We initially met with them several months before our wedding, and they made recommendations for vendors, decorations, favors, and day-of details. After hiring our own vendors, Chloe and Laura took over about a month before the wedding date. They were very organized and prepared. They confirmed all details with the vendors, created a detailed timeline, and organized payments for the vendors. They gave us a lot of helpful advice and met with us for hours prior to our wedding date to discuss what we wanted for our wedding. They stayed in constant contact with us and to ask us for our opinions when needed; Chloe even created a group chat for the four of us so we could get in touch with them immediately if needed. We felt extremely comfortable with them and they really got to know us as a couple. I feel like I made a personal connection with them as they were very easy going and friendly. My fiance also really enjoyed working with them as their attention to details really helped to calm his OCD! Chloe and Laura were both personable and professional, and we trusted everything that they suggested or said. The wedding day went so smoothly because of them. They were at the venue for about 12 hours, coordinating the setup and helping with decorating. They also ensured that everything went off on time and without any problems. They worked seemlessly in background, really allowing us to enjoy our wedding and be worry-free. A perfect wedding, it’s every couple’s dream come true and Effervescent Events made ours truly perfect.
From the moment we met Laura and Chloe we were blown away by their professionalism and kindness. We had originally planned just to have their support for day-of wedding coordination, but after meeting them knew that they could see and even elevate the vision that we were looking for on our wedding day and decided to have their help for the whole thing.
These ladies truly care about you and your wedding and want to make it the perfect day for you. They pay high attention to detail, are open to suggesting new ideas and creative solutions, are very efficient and trustworthy. Our budget was kept on track and we were updated regularly with any changes. One of the things that we enjoyed the most was that they turned a BIG event (the biggest event of your life) into an easy to follow recipe that was given to us in small pieces to ensure that we were never overwhelmed. Their communication with vendors and us was consistent and reliable.
Laura took the lead role in the wedding planning phase and met with us regularly over tea which always made us feel like we had a good handle on thing. Laura sourced the materials and decorations for our wedding. She also designed and printed our name cards and signage for the day. In addition to this, my fiancé and I were encouraged throughout the prep period and we were kept on track with some gentle prodding when we fell behind (which is exactly what we needed!) Laura arranged rentals, décor and commissioners for us. They both helped set up our event, manage the event during the wedding, clean up and were always available for questions and support.
Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Laura and Chloe- their vision improved our original plans by far and the wedding became a real dream come true! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!
