I honestly have no idea what my wedding would have been without Kori & her team at Coastal Weddings. After canceling our first wedding we wanted something small, intimate, and something outside. From the beginning Kori took care of every last detail. She coordinated everything for me, and everything went smooth. Kori and her team were amazing on the day of. Set up and took down everything, had every last detail we wanted done, and had it all under control. I wasn't sure what to expect up until the day of but I am so glad I trusted Kori and let her take care of it all. Almost every guest told us that it was the BEST wedding they've ever gone to. I am so happy with our choice and I would recommend Kori and Coastal Weddings to anyone. Also just wanted to say thank you to Melissa for the most gorgeous florals I could ever imagine.

Blame it on COVID, but I hired a wedding planner for the sake of making the day go smoothly. I didn’t expect perfection, but I was expecting it to go better than it did. At the rehearsal, we went over walking down the aisle (as a wedding party) multiple times with the music I had picked-and had exact timing for all of it so that my entry was perfectly timed. The day of my wedding, I was standing with my father waiting to walk down when I heard the music start at the wrong time. I looked at the wedding planner (Melissa) and mentioned the music wasn’t right. She just smiled and said no it’s all good! When the last of the bridal party had walked down and it was my turn, the song was almost over! I wasn’t even halfway down the aisle before I realized she had played a YouTube video of the song I requested-at this point the lady singing the song on the “YouTube video” was explaining why she chose to sing the song etc etc…I was mortified. Melissa gave no apology and in fact pretended it didn’t happen.

I found Melissa to be difficult to hear over the phone during meetings and often seemed unorganized.

The food was not nearly as good as what they said it would be. Very mediocre.

If I didn't have Kori helping me this year, I don't think we could have handled all the changes. She was able to help us change things from our 100+ person wedding to an intimate elopement and we don't think it could have been more perfect, she literally made our dreams come true.

We had an unreal experience with Kori at Coastal Weddings and Events! She was incredibly knowledgeable, composed and professional through the many Covid curveballs that were sent our way. We can’t say enough good things about our experience and our intimate ceremony was absolutely perfect.

Coastal Wedding and Events did our wedding decor and flowers and we were completely blown away!! The day was absolutely perfect with their help. We were on the fence about getting a coordinator but so glad that we did!

We had a great experience and the perfect event. Melissa helped us figure out how to make our wedding what we wanted, and within a realistic budget too. She was open to our venue and our ideas and knew when to tweak things because they may not work the way we'd envisioned or to make things even better. We would 100% recommend Coastal Weddings and Events to anyone who inquired.

We had the most beautiful garden reception planned, when the weather changed half an hour before the ceremony, believe me, there was NO WAY we could have scrambled and make the appropriate changes.

Melissa thought of EVERYTHING, including reminding me that I needed to eat the day of the wedding.

The decor was exceptional, I told Melissa what I wanted, and it was like she picked the images of decor and creation right out of my head.

Having Coastal Wedding and Events create and do the work, took SO much pressure off of us. Getting married is stressful enough, having someone else look after all the little details is a complete blessing and enabled us to enjoy every moment of the experience.

Thanks to Melissa our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more!

Melissa had our wedding planned in 3 months, and eliminated any possible stressful situations. She was always in communication and no request was too outrageous. Thanks to her we were able to completely enjoy our day worry free.

Melissa is so talented and pulled off our wedding vision seamlessly. Everything we asked for we received to a tee and beautifully executed. Her floral arrangements were absolutely stunning.

Kori is a wedding planning rockstar! She turned the wedding of my dreams into reality and came in under budget. She is extremely easy to communicate with and made the whole wedding planning process fun. She used her extensive experience to turn good ideas into better ones and to steer us away from ideas that sounded good but in reality would fall flat. Her local wedding vendor recommendations were also top notch. On the big day she was managing, juggling details and overall a calming presence that was always there to help but never intrusive. Kori clearly loves what she does. At both the ceremony and reception, while ensuring everything was still running smoothly, she could be seen smiling and enjoying the success of our wedding. Coastal Weddings also took care of our flowers, which were the best anyone had ever seen. Simply stunning! Their rentals are stylish and great quality and their photo booth was an absolute hit. To summarize, many of our guests said it was the most joyous ceremony and best wedding party they had ever been to. Hiring Kori was the best decision we made.

Melissa and her team, hands down exceeded our expectations with everything!! Our day was quite literally magical from start to finish. From the stunning bouquets, flowers and rustic decor, helping us find an awesome venue, and keeping us organized before and during our wedding day! Somehow she managed to do all this within our pretty modest budget! We absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing wedding experience!
