Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event. We had hoped that hiring Jasmine as our planner would ease our preparations, but unfortunately, we faced significant stress and chaos leading up to the big day. We genuinely hope future couples have a smoother experience than we did.

There were big red flags that came up during the planning process, and, in the execution of our wedding that, while she tried to rectify, made us question and not feel confident in the services we paid for. A couple of them during planning were: miscommunication in asking guests to pre select the meals (we had to do it 3 days before in a frantic rush), the total remaining amount we needed to pay her, and even in our contract, the inclusion of a lead assistant who, was not present on our wedding day (it was only Jasmine).

During the wedding day, our guests commented at how disorganized the wedding was. Despite asking her numerous times to have the mic next to our table for speeches and even noted in her google sheet, it was placed at the far end of the room away from us (she had to move it after my best man speech upon our request). When our band wasn't playing, cueing the Spotify music playlist was her responsibility, again we had to remind her, or could not even hear music at all.

At times, we wondered why our brother was frantically running around trying to organize things which we thought were under her control. There wasn't effective or constant communication between him (my best man) and her, only up until days before the wedding by Jasmine, which, I felt was a bit too late.

Lastly, unfortunately she didn't have contingency plans (I'm thinking this is a sign of a good wedding planner) and the sound system completely crapped out - our father and daughter dance and son and mother dance were completely ruined - one of the most important things in our wedding. Though this wasn't entirely under her control, it would've been nice if she had thought of contingency plans in place. In my opinion, this is what separates good planners from the best.

The positives are: she did go out of her way to help us move the equipment before the wedding, and created a beautiful table scale and I give her credit for that. Unfortunately, the entire execution of the wedding fell short on very key areas, both in our experience and that of our family and friends, it was a disorganized and chaotic night.
Wedding days are once in a lifetime moments, so I hope this review helps people avoid the stress and franticness we went through leading up to the wedding, thinking a planner like Jasmine would help. We really wished it worked out, and hope couples don't experience what we did.

Jasmine provided full planning and design for our two wedding events: our wedding day and our Gaye Holud (a Bengali ceremony) the day before. Her thoughtful insight and attention to detail with design, logistics, and guest experience removed so much stress from the whole process. She helped us find vendors that met our priorities and negotiated prices during a busy wedding year. She provided very good communication, which was outstanding three months leading up to the events.

She took time to understand the decor priorities and proceedings of the Gaye Holud, and liaised with my sister-in-law, who also provided some much-appreciated input.

On our wedding weekend, Jasmine was super organized and brought a reassuring, calm presence to the space. The two days went smoothly without our wedding party or family needing to help execute the events – instead, everyone got to enjoy the celebration!

I would hire Jasmine 100 times over; she is professional, responsive, listened and brought my hopes and dreams to life! She was there for me during all the rescheduling and handled it with ease. Her designs were beautiful, within my budget and exactly what I was envisioning. She quickly took care of an issue on the day of and I had no doubt she would make it right. On the day of, she was calm and her team did an absolutely amazing job with set up at both the ceremony and private estate reception. On top of all that, Jasmine has worked with tons of vendors and has personal and strong relationships with them making the planning and day of coordination seamless.

Jasmine was an absolute dream to work with. We hired Jasmine about a year and a half prior to our original wedding date of June 19, 2020 with a partial planning/design option as we had already selected a date, venue and photographer but needed help with the actual design and associated vendors. Upon receiving the design proposal I was shocked to notice that she had captured the exact design that I had in my mind, and that it fit what we were going for perfectly. From there she assisted in securing our other vendors and came up with the perfect overall vision. Jasmine has excellent connections in the wedding industry and this was so apparent as we went through vendor selection, she really knew who the best options were. In March 2020 we, like many couples worldwide, realized that our planned wedding wasn’t going to be possible due to COVID-19. When we discussed this with Jasmine we all came to the conclusion that moving the date was the safest option. Jasmine worked tirelessly to secure a new date for us later in the year, but when the summer rolled around we realized that our new date also wouldn’t work with the current regulations. Jasmine did not hesitate to take on the massive challenge of planning a new wedding for us in under three weeks!! She scoured for new venues and presented so many great ideas to us. Once we selected a new venue she got everything in place extremely quickly and everything went PERFECTLY. I honestly believe that the new wedding was actually perfect. Jasmine executed absolutely every detail flawlessly and we didn’t need to think or worry at all. We literally just had to get ready and show up, and it was so incredibly stress-free. Our families commented over and over again that they thought she was amazing! I would recommend Jasmine to anyone in a heartbeat. She is an extremely bright professional, and was everything that we needed in a planner. She truly shined during the pandemic and we could not have handled the massive associated stresses without her. Hiring Jasmine was the single best decision we made in terms of our wedding. She is fabulous.

If you are considering hiring Jasmine, stop wondering and BOOK HER NOW! She is the perfect blend of open-minded and flexible meets savvy and knowledgeable. Our wedding wasn't very traditional and Jasmine worked with us to make it EXACTLY what we wanted. She went above and beyond to answer our (my) tiny, worry-wart concerns and made our day feel special without making it feel overly rigid or like a "production". Jasmine was recommended to us by friends who were married almost a year before us. We were very happy that we chose Jasmine to help us with month and day of wedding. She was very professional, attentive, responsive, and very sweet, throughout the whole process. She was detail oriented and great at getting the things done that needed to be done. We had a wonderful experience with Jasmine. She was very helpful in the early stages of planning even though we only hired her for month of planning. She was always there to answer any questions and reassure me things were coming together properly. The day came together perfectly. The way she brought our vision together was fantastic. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was. We can’t thank Jasmine and Whitney enough for all their hard work and making our day perfect. Highly recommend!

Jasmine was the best decision we made for our wedding ( because she was so helpful in helping us make so many subsequent great decisions) . Our wedding was gorgeous, months later we are still getting so many comments about how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. We can't count the number of times we said "ahh so glad we have jasmine" during the wedding planning process. She was truly so caring and thoughtful with every element. We ended up with a bridal magazine type wedding but without the cookie cutter cliches and lots of our own personality being the centre. The day ran so smoothly and we can honestly only attribute that to her. There was lots of time for impromptu and spontaneous couple time to really feel there for each other as well as our guests. She made sure we had plenty of time for everything and we never ever felt that "rushed" feeling that so many other couples have talked about. I don't think we could have properly enjoyed and savoured one of the most important days of our lives without her. Thank you so much- We can't wait to hire you again for vow renewals / anniversary parties (maybe in Australia this time :) )

Jasmine was fantastic in terms of everything! We hired Jasmine at a pretty late stage of our wedding planning process, around 2.5 months away from our big day, since at first, Ryan and I thought we can handle everything ourselves, but planning a wedding was not an easy thing and we felt we need to extra pair of hands. Meeting and hiring Jasmine was one of the best decision we made during our entire planning process! Right after our first meeting, her first draft design proposal already reflected what was in my mind. She was always quick and patient in responding to any questions or concerns, and always had a solution for us. She recommended some vendors that have exceptional quality of work and also within our budget. She was super organized and took care of everything so ensure we are on track.
On our big day, Jasmine helped us to delivery our personal flower from the venue to the hotel. She also helped us pick up wedding favor that we left behind at the hotel. She set up decors, candles and flowers, and turned the venue into a soft/romantic fairyland which totally brought my vision to live! Since our venue has a bit of limited space, chairs need to be removed after ceremony in order for the dinning tables to be set up and dinning tables need to be removed in order for the dance floor to be set up, Jasmine coordinated with the venue and efficiently transform the space so that everything could be on schedule and most importantly our guests were not feeling interrupted. In all, our big day couldn't be so seamless without her. Jasmine truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We couldn't thank her more!

There are too many good things I have to say about Jasmine. She killlllled it for our wedding, absolutely phenomenal. She helped us with both design, vendor management and day of organization and I can truly say we weee able to be guests at our own wedding because of her. She’s smart, professional, well known and respected in the industry, and maintains a calm and confident approach to her trade. She was flexible, helped us with things outside of the wedding (gift boxes, seating charts, table cards etc). Just a super cool woman with a load of experience that’s hard to find. 10/10.
