We had the absolute best experience working with Dave for our engagement shoot in the mountains and our wedding day. He’s not only an incredibly talented photographer but also such a joy to be around, upbeat, professional, and genuinely invested in capturing our story. My partner and I are so appreciative of the amazing wedding photos from Worn Leather Media. We felt that Dave went above and beyond what we would expect as he provided us with a lot of advice as we planned our wedding day. We can say that our timeline was almost entirely built around his very helpful guidance! On the day of the wedding, Dave was very well organised in getting friends, family, and ourselves through potraits efficiently so that we could return to the reception to spend time with our guests. Dave was professional but also very humourous which helped us calm our nerves prior to the ceremony. We felt he really fit in with our group of friends and the help he gave throughout day was very much appreciated.

With regards to the photographer we are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the photos we received back. We received our photos back much earlier than expected which was such a great surprise! Our family photos and personal photos outside of Banff turned out amazing. Dave's style really captured the fun we and our guests had throughout the day.

We cannot even begin to express our gratitude for to Dave and Natalie for being our photographers for our engagement shoot and wedding. As soon as we had our first meeting with Dave, we were sold. He made us laugh and made us feel confident that we would enjoy spending our entire wedding day with him (and we did!!). We are people who do not like having our photos taken and tend to look awkward, but somehow we felt so comfortable and had so much fun - and this really translated into the photos. They put us at ease and gave us guidance when we needed it, and we really appreciated that.

For our engagement shoot, Dave and Nat were willing to meet us at 3AM and hike a mountain with us to catch the sunrise. The photos were breathtaking and it was an experience we will never forget. They did such a beautiful job capturing the journey of our wedding, and when looking at the photos we feel emotional and remember how we felt when the photos were taken. The photos do not look staged or rehearsed. We didn’t know it was possible for us to look that good and we don’t know how they made every person they took a photo of look like a model. It’s such a special way to remember the best day of our lives.

On top of the beautiful galleries, we had so much fun spending time with them. They had such a fun energy and were amazing to have at the party. They stayed until the end of the wedding and did not charge extra, and had the photos back to us within a reasonable time frame. We now consider Dave and Natalie lifelong friends and we will be reaching out whenever we're in the Banff area. We are so grateful for Worn Leather Media and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

When planning a wedding there are many details and forms to fill out - Dave and Natalie have found a way to make every step of the planning process enjoyable! We loved being able to sit down and have a conversation over a few drinks, getting to know each other better and sharing our dreams and vision for our big day. We already knew Worn Leather Media was a good fit right from the start when I trolled their portfolio – full of super professional and artistic and beautiful shots.

Then we met Dave and Natalie and we realized that there’s professional photos and there are professional photographers! Dave and Natalie made the whole process fun (I hate getting photos taken – the last professional photographs I had done were 22 years ago at the last wedding lol). They listened – not just to what we were able to articulate but to what was going on in the environment that we weren’t specifically asking them you to address. They captured so many moments throughout the day that we and our guests are going to treasure forever. If it happened, they got it and without any intention other than to do spectacular work, they became an integral component to our enjoyment of the day.

We wanted crisp, clean, natural, candid pictures, and wanted our photography team to be people we wanted around us on our wedding day. We are so happy we found Dave and Natalie! Our engagement session got us more comfortable being behind a camera, and helped us get to know how Dave and Natalie work. We ended up cancelling our wedding and decided to elope on a mountain instead - we were so glad we had hired Dave and Natalie because we knew they’d be down for this adventure! We still had them for the full day and they were able to capture every moment for us. Most of the time we didn’t even notice them taking photos, so our day felt very relaxed without feeling like we needed to pose for pictures. We are able to relive our wedding day through our pictures from start to finish, and we could not be happier with the final product!

Dave and Natalie captured our engagement photos, and when I say my guy hates photos, it is an understatement. My fiancé now mentioned doing another engagement session with them, which I never dreamed he would be open to!
