Maryn was the photographer for our mountain elopement wedding. She hiked up West Wind Pass with us to capture our special day. While carrying a heavy load of gear, Maryn was the perfect joyful addition to our small group. This was especially important when the groom and his friends took a wrong turn, leaving the girls waiting for 2+ hours. Throughout, Maryn was calm, positive and solution oriented. She patiently waited in fairly chilly temps, cracking jokes and keeping spirits up! When everyone was finally together, she immediately jumped into action, going from bride to groom to capture shots as we were getting ready separately. She also scouted the best spots for us to say our vows. All her efforts resulted in absolutely stunning photos we will cherish forever. In addition to being a great photographer, Maryn is highly knowledgeable about the area and is an excellent resource for information on photo spots or any other adventures you may be thinking of in the area. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your big day and it was amazing to have someone there with great social skills - perfectly lovely when needed and perfectly blending in when capturing the little moments. She traveled all the way from Canmore to shoot our wedding in Calgary, which truly reflects her commitment and passion for her work. At first, I thought she just preferred shooting in the mountains, but her willingness to come to us meant so much.

When we received the final gallery (which arrived even sooner than expected!), I was blown away. Every photo was stunning — beautifully edited, vibrant, emotional, and full of life. One of my favorite moments she captured was my groom smiling during the ceremony. I was so caught up in everything at the time that I didn’t even notice his expression, but she saw it, and now I can cherish that memory forever. The photo I had high hopes for — the classic under-the-veil kiss — turned out breathtaking. I had high expectations for that shot, and she absolutely nailed it.

She was calm, organized, and had a natural way of blending into the day. I’ve worked with other photographers before, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Her pricing was very fair for the level of care, talent, and service she provided.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Maryn. We met her by chance the weekend that we visited our venue, and loved the style of her work. In our initial conversations, she was very friendly and helpful. Neither my fiancée nor I had spent extensive time in the area of our venue, and she was able to suggest multiple shot locations and backups, and even helped us refine our timeline for the big day (I was not a Type A bride). She was very flexible on my last-minute decisions, even a change of venue for one of the events. On the big day, her positive energy helped everyone relax and not feel awkward about having their photos taken. She was excellent and professional when dealing with large numbers of our family and guests, and I received many positive comments in regards to the photographer. Myself and my now-husband are so happy with how the photos turned out, they are exactly what I wanted, a mix of posed and documentary-like images. We had a super unique engagement shoot at a highland cattle farm. Maryn was happy to accommodate our request, despite the distance. She was there early to scope things out. The shoot itself was super comfortable, which I am very glad about because I am normally so awkward in photo shoots. I felt at ease throughout the entire afternoon. She gave helpful prompts but also focused on candid stuff (which I asked for). The photos themselves turned out great, so many to choose from. I would not hesitate to recommend this vendor to anyone! 10/10 would book again! We would love to do another couples shoot with her, and I love how open to fun/quirky/creative ideas she is.
