Since 2010, Emily Newton has been involved in the industry, and she is thrilled to preserve moments of wedded bliss. Her many years’ worth of experience allows her to do justice to milestone moments, and she loves to work in the open air. Crazy ideas!
My first session with Emily was a boudoir. She arranged hair, makeup and had costume/apparel ideas available and made it relaxing and fun. She listened to what I wanted and was willing to try things I suggested. Would do another session with her anytime!
The second crazy idea I had was to have this old, rusted, disintegrating car that is in a bush photographed in every season. Emily was out in onsite in all weather to capture this car for me. It’s been a year and a half project and her dedication to finish it has not deterred. She’s reminded me we still need that last shot to complete!
Emily’s flexibility has been amazing not just for the car shoot but also for a last minute family session I asked her to do. My son was home from the west, my sister and her family and my mom could all be at my place on this day at this time and Emily came to us on that day at that time and took some awesome candids and posed photographs. She captured our family as we are and I love every picture and the giggles and love they evoke!

Fun and creative
She brought creative ideas to the table every time we met. The photos she suggested we do have turned out to be our favorites.
I am not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but with Emily there was never an uncomfortable or awkward moment.
I don’t know if we will ever use another photographer ever, we absolutely loved working with Emily and highly recommend her.

Hey everyone!
Thank you for stoppping in and checking out my wedding wire profile. I am Emily Newton, the owner of Newton Photography. I have been behind the camera since 2010 after graduating from the Digitial Photography and Imaging Course in Georgian College.
After living in the big city for 7+ years I decided to make the move back to Bruce County. I moved back around 2015 and thats when I decided to dive into my own business as a photographer. I first started out as a landscape photographer. I sold many of my images to local resturants and people of the community. I then decided to jump into the wedding industry and here we are!
A little about myself. I'm a country girl! I love chocolate. I'm a crazy cat lazy and I love to enjoy life and make the best of it.
Hi there! My name is Chantyl, and I am Emily’s new second photographer. I’ve been a professional photographer for just over a year, however, it’s been a passion of mine for quite some time now. It started a couple years ago when my finance’ bought me my first camera. He also has a passion for photography and taught me everything I know, from composition, how to shoot manually and edit raw images in Lightroom.
I met Emily in 2017 when she photographed my best friend and her cousin’s wedding. I was in the wedding party and Emily was the photographer. We recently reconnected when she hired Matthew and I for a couples session. Emily was impressed with my work and asked if I would be interested in working with her. I agreed, and here we are!
I have traveled across the globe, and I am never one to back down from an adventure. I will climb mountains, walk into rivers, anything to get a great photo.
