Justin is an absolutely amazing person and photographer. We did our engagement shoot in late 2020 and just got married in late 2022. He was extremely kind and patient helping guide us through the whole wedding process. Justin was notably very detail oriented. He has a true vision and uses his experience to give great advice to ensure he gets the shot we are looking for. He withstood the freezing cold temperatures of December and worked absolute magic with the little daylight he had. The photos Justin was able to capture of our special days were truly incredible!! We are so grateful to share these photos with our friends and family and also in our home forever to remember the best day of our lives. We can’t recommend Justin highly enough. He is extremely talented, easy to work with, and just an all-round nice guy. It took weeks looking for a photographer and I came across his work from a blog he wrote. Both his pictures and words were simply heartfelt. Justin met with us early on and took some fantastic engagement photos. We hit it off right away when we met, was communicative and listened carefully to what we wanted for the wedding.

Not only are photographs important for memories of the wedding day, the taking of pictures is a big part of the day itself. Justin made the day better just with his presence alone. Justin was absolutely amazing to work with and his photos are unbelievable!! We were so happy with the way he was able to capture our love in his photos and he was so easy and fun to work with! Backstory to our engagement shoot.. We found Justin online after searching for photographers in Vancouver (destination engagement shoot) and immediately were impressed with his creative eye. We found his photos to be unique and so beautiful, with emotions really shining through the camera--and the locations he shot in were breathtaking!!! After one skype call, I knew he was the one! He clearly is talented, but also just has such a fun energy, is kind and trustworthy. He is one of those people you kinda just feel at ease with immediately. He genuinely cared about getting to know us as a couple, which I think made the photos even better! As first time visitors in Vancouver (and huge foodies), he even gave us some great recommendations for awesome food. We planned for our photoshoot to be at Sea to Sky, however being that it was rainy season, the weather didn't look like it would hold up so he gave us some options for a backup plan just in case. He recommended Capilano Suspension Bridge (which also has a free shuttle from downtown Vancouver by the way!). When it came down to it, we ended up doing Capilano, but the weather was still in the 40s and it just rained all day. We still wanted to do our photos there, and he was so great about it! We showed up and he had two umbrellas waiting for us and even though it was cold, he made it all happen. Capilano was doing their Canyon Lights tour, so there were unique lights everywhere. He knew how to work with the lights, the rain, just everything. The result was even better than we had ever imagined!! Highly Highly recommend Justin if you are getting photos in the Vancouver area (and I think he travels!).

My fiance and I planned a vacation in Vancouver since we've never been. We decided to take advantage of the beautiful landscape and planned an engagement shoot at Sea to Sky Gondola during our trip. Planning a photoshoot in another country is pretty tough but Justin was extremely prompt and professional and also he was reasonably priced. We were worried about the weather because the forecast predicted rain but Justin was very flexible about coming up with a contingency plan. Luckily we did not need it because the weather was perfect on the day of the shoot. The photos are gorgeous and we cannot wait to print them and display them at our wedding and in our home for years to come!

Justin was so accommodating during the booking process and the entire event. He was patient and kind. During the wedding both him and the second shooter kept their distance when they felt needed and we didn't feel like they were in our face the entire time. It was a great experience. We chose Justin because of his natural edit style and were very happy with the images in the end. We highly recommend him!

Justin was exceptionally professional and I would highly recommend him for your wedding day. Justin was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and was willing to work with you on what was the most important to your special day. We got married almost 1.5 years ago and here I am writing a very delayed, but much deserved review for Justin. From the get go, Justin showed professionalism, expertise and was able to provide us with a lot of guidance in areas of our wedding that we had no idea about! (E.g. how long small group photos would take vs. larger ~30 people group would be, and how we could factor that into our wedding schedule). We gave Justin our ideas and what we liked, and he was able to pick out the perfect engagement shoot spot, and the day of picture spot! On the day of, Justin was prepared along with his second shooter, and he was able to capture beautiful photos despite the rain. We loved the natural lighting that he utilized in our photos! Even a year later, when we needed help to redownload some pictures of our wedding, Justin did not hesitate to help. It was truly a pleasure having Justin as our photographer!

My husband and I are not the most photogenic people, and it was very important to us that we feel comfortable with our photographer. When we first met with Justin he had a detailed questionnaire he went through to get to know us as a couple, he also gave us a list of information he'd need to best plan out the wedding day photography. I liked this level of detail because i felt like he really captured my vision for the wedding day.

Our engagement shoot was in the pouring rain, but it was a blast. My Fiance and I were smiling genuinely, and nothing was overly posed. Justin, always prepared, brought clear umbrellas for the rain and multiple camera's with the lenses attached to prevent moisture from getting in when doing lens changes.

The day of the wedding he had another photographer helping him take the shots. We gave him a list of photos we wanted taken and we were able to get most of them. One good suggestion he gave was planning out the family photos after the ceremony and have our cousin call them up. It made the whole process more efficient, and it was easier to gather everyone after the ceremony.

All in all i think his photos are an accurate portrayal of what our wedding was like. Do note that he does not use a lot of photo editing / filters, so if you're looking for a highly edited look you might want to consider another photographer. For us though, we are quite satisfied with what we got.
