Having a great photographer was important to us because we wanted to ensure that we had lasting memories of our special day. We were on a budget but truly felt that photography was an investment - we spent so much time and money to prepare for the day, it would have been a shame if we didn't have quality photography to capture it all.

Josh met with us beforehand to go over our overall vision for our day and asked us if we had any special requests. We didn't really know what we wanted but loved the shots that he had on his website so we trusted that he would guide us through our wedding day as well.

On a side note, if there is anyone out there that is on the fence about video vs. photography or questions whether or not photography can capture the moments of the day - all I can say is that I could absolutely relive our day through Josh's photos! We printed the photos on canvas for our walls and created coffee table photo books - we just wouldn't be able to enjoy and share a video in the same way.
