Sunny and Jess, husband-and-wife wedding photographers, are the owners of Deep Blue Photography, based in Edmonton. They are highly specialized in contemporary and photojournalistic styles and have been recognized as Best Wedding Photographers by the Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada. At their 2013 destination wedding in Tahiti, they used their ingenuity and the help of family and friends to arrange their own wedding photography.

Sunny and Jess are self-described perfectionists. Their style emphasizes timeless elegance, with minimal post processing. Wedding images are usually ready within six weeks of the wedding date. For a full day of coverage, around 500 images are provided.

Amazing work and people!
Sunny and Jess are nothing less than amazing. We had been searching for some time and were very nervous first deciding on them- simply because we did not know them and only seen small portfolio of wedding shots and it is always a gamble in the wedding industry. Immediately they were welcoming are comfortable to work with, it’s like your among family. The photographs from both our wedding and engagement shoot were stunning and plentiful! They captured our special day wonderfully. They work with you to make sure that you are getting nothing less than what your vision is for your photos, they are highly talented and amazing people!.

Professional, Fun, and Amazing Photographers
When we picked Sunny and Jess as our wedding photographers we weren't sure what to expect. We have never had professional photos taken or worked with photographers before, and they exceeded our expectations in every way possible. To say that they are professional is an understatement. They both went above and beyond to make our day effortless and our wedding photos are stunning. They worked closely with us to really understand who we are as a couple and incorporated that into our photos. They both have a great sense of humour which put us at ease throughout the entire process and on our wedding day. They offered a ton of suggestions throughout the planning process, but were never pushy letting us ultimately make the decisions, and were fluid with last minute changes on our wedding day due to rain. They offered an experience that well exceeded what we were expecting going in. We could not imagine celebrating our day with anyone else. They are truly wonderful.
