Darcy has been a friend for a long time and it was a real pleasure to have him photograph our wedding! We are very happy with the photographs and Darcy is a great person to be around with! Darcy was very attentive to our needs and delivered the photos we talked about. Even more, he took initiative and made us some extra family shots that we didn't previously agreed upon. What a nice surprise it was! Very much appreciated! Also, it was comforting to know that our photographer had an alternative location in case it rains. Getting married for the first time at 46 was something I never thought would happen. Once I was over this shock it was then time to start hiring vendors. When we started looking for a photographer I didn't really know what I was looking for, however, I knew I didn't want your typical posed shots. We met Darcy at a local wedding show and were impressed. Our first meeting put most of our fears to rest. The following meetings just kept reassuring me that we had made the right choice. He was great throughout the entire process, Whenever I called as the nervous bride needing answers, he was patient and always able to help. The day of the wedding he showed up as promised. Even though I wasn't ready for pictures, he just started shooting, taking pictures of the gown, my accessories, our car. The shots he took were natural and very few of them were 'posed' shots. He had us playing peek-a-boo, stopping traffic, just being natural all the while having fun with the camera. When we received the shots after the wedding we were very impressed. He took the time during the day of the wedding to find the right spots and the right shots. Everyone who looks at the photos love them. I am so glad we chose to go with Darcy Rowan Photography for our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone, trust me, you will not be disappointed.
