They are located in the greater Vancouver area, but are always excited to take off to an adventurous wedding or fun destination elopement. Catching the real moment
Working with Maylies was an incredibly positive experience. She has so much energy and positivity and it shows in her photos. She is super flexible and calming. I am someone who is not naturally relaxed in photos, however, because she's such a friendly and positive person, she makes you at ease. She's also great at taking in the moment photos, instead of staged ones. She catches real moments. I'd definitely recommend them.

THE best photographers!
Barefoot Duo were so wonderful to work with, they were my easiest vendors to communicate and coordinate with! We did engagement and wedding photos with them and loved how they worked together and made us feel totally at ease. Having 2 photographers makes such a difference too. They work off each other and capture your most magic moments from literally every angle. Duo truly is better than one! We would highly recommend Barefoot Duo to anyone looking to capture their special day!

Had the absolute pleasure of having Barefoot Duo photograph our wedding. If, like me, you feel awkward posing for photos, you've got nothing to worry about - you're in excellent hands. Elle and Maylies have a certain energy about them that makes being in front of the camera an amazing part of the day. Their fun good vibes are totally contagious and it shows up in the photos they capture.
Not only are these girls a blast to work with, but their camera skills and artistic eye are seriously impressive.
We couldn't be happier that wit the finished product. My only wish is that we had more wall space to display the memories from our day - with so many incredible shots, its seriously hard to choose.

Elle and Maylies with Barefoot Duo Photography were absolutely amazing. They captured so many special moments without us even realizing they were there! From decorated table settings to reactions of our guests during speeches we now have a string of beautifully captured moments from the day to look back on. They helped with many other things including organizing guests for group photos, timing of the wedding day as well as planning before the wedding. They were kind, organized, easy-going, fun and we felt as comfortable as possible posing for photos. I hadn't realized what a big role the photographers would play at a wedding but they take the photos that you will have forever! I would strongly recommend Barefoot Duo Photography and we were incredibly happy with our choice!

The Barefoot Duo team were a delight to work with. They responded to our inquiries without delay and were flexible when scheduling times to meet up. They did our engagement photo session and our wedding photos. We were so pleased with the quality of our engagement photos, we knew the wedding photos would be amazing. Before and during the wedding they were a calming presence to a hectic day. I highly recommend this duo for your photography needs.

These ladies were an amazing duo to work with. Both were very friendly, easy going, creative, and professional. They always maintained an organized stress free work flow and delivered high quality results. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the lower mainland or Vancouver Island.
