Outstanding

I'm visiting my fiancee in Calgary, & he knows Mikayla from school. I'm so glad he recommended her! She did an outstanding job with our engagement session. I'm incredibly pleased with her professionalism, response time, & consideration & flexibility! I definitely recommend her, & her beautiful work speaks for itself.

Unprofessional

Unprofessional, unreliable, delayed responses, poor communicator and refused to alter our package when cancer and the pandemic changed our plans. By refusing to agree to an alternate package she kept our deposit for doing absolutely nothing.

Caring for my clients and their personal situations are extremely important. I'm sorry that you felt unsatisfied with my services. I most certainly did not refuse to alter your package. I not only gave you one, but two alternate package options at my expense and neither were good enough for you. I have gone above and beyond my contractual duties in offering two different options that were not required of me. Due to a personal urgent situation I didn't reply to an email of yours until the following week as I had no option except to step away from work. I have also already apologized for that delayed response to you and stated why. I stand behind my work, and anyone can see from all of my other reviews all over the web that a 5* review is the standard feedback from all other clients.

Wedding album of our dreams

Mikayla was so fun to work with! She gave my husband and I the wedding album of our dreams. She knew all the great spots to go and helped us to not only have fun and see a lot of different parts of Banff we wouldn’t have found on our own, but she made us SO comfortable in front of the camera. We are in love with all of our photos and the adventure she gave us along the way. I see the love and passion we feel in every single frame! Hands down worth the investment!

Love her so much. She is a beautiful, fun and cheery person. Easy to work with. Her photos are amazing, I love em all so much.

Unresponsive and disappointing final product

We had high hopes for our second shoot with Ayla, but unfortunately we were let down hard. She will not respond to inquiries after your shoot and the final product for us was dark photos with sub par, blurry editing. Spend your money somewhere else, don't be disappointed like us and have to pay to re-do it with someone else.

Look elsewhere

Disappointing experience. Zero flexibility and communication and an end product that was sub-par at best. Sorry but this photographer just isn't worth it. You can do better for less.

She is a very talented photographer and a very nice person to deal with. She recently did our daughter's newborn session and we fell in love not only with her work but also with how she handled our baby. You would enjoy a photo session with her very much. Seeing her working with our baby was magical and the final results completely stunning. I wish I had known her before for our Wedding Pictures!

Different from the rest

Photos were the most important part of my wedding day and I am so glad we went with Mikayla! Our photos are beautiful and different from many of the other styles I researched or have seen. She was really comfortable to work with.
