I came across Ben’s name on the list of wedding officiants and sent him an email. He was flexible, helpful and easy to work with. He provided the information we needed with easy to follow links, sent examples of vows to help us say exactly what we wanted for our intimate celebration. Our ceremony went exactly as we’d hoped and he was very professional. 10/10 would recommend! It was perfect.

We found Ben only a few weeks before our wedding (whoops!). He had no trouble dealing with the short timeline to prepare our ceremony. He was easy to communicate and responded to all of our emails very quickly. Since we were planning from a different province, we had all of our meetings over zoom. He was positive, clear and organized in all these meetings. We sent him youtube videos and ideas for our ceremony and he took them on board and cleaned them up so the ceremony would run smoothly. Ben even spoke french for our ceremony which a rare find. He showed up on time for our ceremony rehearsal and worked with our wedding planner to herd all the family members and wedding party members to give them their instructions. On the big day, he looked great and sounded great. I can tell that he understands and believes in wedding ceremonies because if I listen really closely to our ceremony video, I think he was getting emotional as well. Ben was amazing! He helped guide us through the process of obtaining our marriage license, made sure we had everything we needed to legally get married and was so easy to communicate with. He was professional and approachable throughout the whole process and did a great job the day of our wedding. Ben checked in often and really helped keep me on track with what I needed to get done. He was quick to reply with any questions I had, and was very easy going when I changed my mind a million times at the rehearsal on how I wanted the procession to go. Ben sent a few scripts for me to decide on for our ceremony and when I couldn’t decide on which one I wanted, he created a beautiful ceremony script using what I highlighted from the few he sent. Highly recommend Ben.

Ben worked with us to find a time that fit after a previous officiant fell through and provided us with everything we wanted an more. He gave us full control over the length and content of the script with open communication lines and made sure every detail fit our specific wants. He made the process easy and made sure his part of our day went as smooth as possible. Absolutely recommend.

Although he wasn’t able to fill our date he referred us to a few other local officiates, very friendly and professional!
