My wife and I had the absolute joy of getting married through one of Elope BC’s pop-up elopements, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful, stress-free experience. They took the time to listen to all our questions and concerns, and every single detail was handled with such care and thoughtfulness. On the day of our elopement, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything flowed perfectly the setup, the atmosphere, the warmth of the team!! It was all magical! We could simply focus on being present with each other, surrounded by love and joy.

We cannot overstate how incredibly thrilled we were with our wedding, but also how great Sue, Crystal and the rest of the team at Elope BC was.

We first met with Sue for a zoom call after stumbling upon the Elope BC website. She was very helpful and was able to answer any questions and talk about any concerns that we had. After this call we were able to get a sense of how much she enjoyed doing what she does, which made it a lot easier to know that we wanted to work with her to have a great wedding. We chose to have a Fall ceremony at Miska Haven, which is absolutely recommended to everyone who has ever dreamt of getting married in a forest or rural setting.

Throughout the process of planning our wedding one part we were never worried about was how the ceremony was going to go, as we were confident the team at Elope BC knew what they were doing and that assurance took a massive weight of stress off of our shoulders knowing it was one less thing to worry about.

On the day of the ceremony, this feeling couldn't have been more solidified as Sue, Crystal and the rest of the team were so professional, accommodating, calming, excited, and organized that it was able to help calm a lot of the nerve that I am sure others feel on their wedding day. We were even worried that there may be a spot of rain, but they provided umbrellas and blankets to keep the guests warm; and with the ceremony taking place under the protective canopy of the trees there was nothing to worry about. The location for the ceremony itself was like being transported into a completely different place and just brought with it the magic we were envisioning for our ceremony. The floral arrangements by Muri were absolutely breathtaking and added to the entire aura of a beautiful forest wedding. The process of the wedding felt very smooth and was in no way stressful. The team was always so calm and always knew what to do to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Even when there was a minor problem with the Brides dress or make-up they were able to jump in to solve everything that came up. Sue as our officiant was tremendous. Not only did her outfit compliment the entire forest experience, but her energy and enthusiasm was very lovely for both ourselves as well as our guests. Carmen from FRESHphoto was able to capture the best moments and was great during our couple session in getting some great shots. We have never done any professional photo shoots together and weren't sure how it would go, but she made it very easy and fun. She was even able to capture some of the moments that we thought might look great but weren't fully sure how to make them happen, she was absolutely able to.

All and all, it was the perfect wedding ceremony. We left smiling and all of our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. We highly recommend and would encourage anyone to work with the Elope BC team for their upcoming elopement/ceremony!

We chose the personal elopement package. The package included the venue, live musician, flowers, and the photographer, all for a flat rate. We were able to pick literally everything; venue, date, and time, type of flowers, type of music, everything!! AND, we were able to share the day with 15 of our closest guests. Sue and Crystal were the most welcoming duo in the world.
Our wedding day could not have been any more perfect. There is absolutely nothing I would change, except to relive it all once more.

We worked with Elope BC to arrange our elopement, and it was absolutely wonderful. We chose a shared date for our ceremony, and I highly recommend booking your ceremony during the 'golden hour' if you want to capture some incredible photos. One of the things I really appreciated was that we could pay in installments, which made the process much more manageable.

Sue and her team were incredibly organized and made sure to go over all the details with us well in advance. They were friendly, approachable, and ensured we knew exactly what to expect on the day. If you're coming from outside BC to get married there, I highly advise booking an appointment with the closest Service BC office ahead of time to get your marriage license—it's easy to do online, but it can book up weeks in advance. The process is quick, taking only about 30 minutes, and they’ll mail you your certificate after Elope BC files the signed license.

Sue served as our officiant and performed a beautiful handfasting ceremony that truly moved us. She was also flexible and worked around some additional elements I wanted, such as my dad praying over us during the ceremony. Elope BC took care of everything—venue, decor, seating, musician, flowers, coordinator, photographer—and made the entire day as stress-free as possible. I wasn't anxious at all leading up to the wedding because they had every detail covered.

I absolutely loved the experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend Elope BC. If you want a stress-free, beautiful, and intimate wedding, elopement is definitely the way to go!

We wanted to have a very intimate and personal elopement. This was a second marriage for both of us and we wanted it to really be about us.
