Sue is an absolute sweetheart. She helped to create the most beautiful ceremony for our wedding. We had so many compliments from guests saying how unique the ceremony was and how it truly encapsulated our relationship. Neither of us wanted to have a long, serious or sappy ceremony, as that’s just not us. Sue thoughtfully read our ceremony to embrace all the emotions that were felt. She knew exactly when to pause to allow for a few happy tears and to soak it all in or when to add some humour and laughter. The ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect.

We are so happy we found her for our elopement. Covid-19 may have halted our original wedding plans but we decided you can't stop love and we weren't waiting any longer!!

In steps Sue!! We found her on wedding wire and she was so responsive. From the first phone call we knew she'd be perfect to officiate our wedding. She also recommended florists and a great photographer (Carousel Studios). She did her homework and wrote a ceremony that was designed for us filled with Disney quotes!! Considering it was just us - she made us feel at ease and had an amazing gift of making it feel like the rest of the world melt away by adding humour and grace to the ceremony (even dancing with us at the end!!).

I highly recommend her and when we look back at our special day we'll remember how lucky we were to have her be a part of it!

Sue did an incredible job at our ceremony. She went above and beyond my expectations. The script choices that you get to choose from are all very natural, raw, earthy and touching. She makes everyone feel very comfortable and even share some laughs! Would highly recommend.

When we first began our search for an officiant, we were a little worried we may have a hard time finding an LGBTQ2+ friendly officiant. Luckily for us, our search didn’t last long! Sue came highly recommended to us through a mutual friend. After reaching out, she immediately got back to us and continued to uphold the same level of communication, patience, understanding, knowledge and warmth throughout our entire process. Wedding planning can feel extremely overwhelming and tedious at times, but we never once felt any anxiety surrounding our ceremony. Sue was flexible in scheduling multiple meetings with us, and always made us feel heard and at ease. She created a one of a kind, unique to us ceremony that felt authentic, joyful and FULL of love. We were unaware of all of the different things that could be incorporated, but Sue was patient in explaining all of our options, and incorporated every detail we mentioned. We could not have asked for a more wonderful, loving person to marry us! She made us feel grounded and safe during our ceremony, and really helped us to be in the moment and mindful of our surroundings (which can be hard when you’re nervous and in front of a lot of people). All of our guests feedback was the same:

They had never been to a ceremony like that before, and it was truly the most beautiful and unique one they’d ever witnessed.
