I was super anxious about finding the perfect hair and makeup artist. I have rosacea and had concerns about my makeup lasting for all of the big day. I met with Amy for a trial and was blown away. She was super kind and nailed the look I was going for on the first try.

On my wedding day, Amy glammed up some of my bridesmaids, my mom and myself. I received endless compliments about my makeup and hair, even weeks after the wedding. Even my mom, who was a little apprehensive about having her makeup done, loved her experience and was so happy with her look (and trying lashes for the first time!).

My wedding day was a crazy emotional day and I'm pretty sure I was crying happy tears 50% of the time over the span of 16 hours and my makeup never failed! It looks flawless from the first photo to the last. Amy is amazing and listened to exactly what I wanted. Could not have asked for better makeup on my wedding day!!

TLDR: BOOK WITH AMY. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! For my wedding in November 2018, I was convinced I could do my own makeup. I tend to like a natural look, and I'd sold makeup and done other people's makeup for years, so I figured I could handle it. But after one visit to Sephora and calculating all the long-lasting makeup I'd need to buy, I figured it was better to just book a professional. The only problem? It was like a month and a half before my event. I'd gone to Amy for my brows and waxing before, and she'd always been so professional and very chill. In other words, I figured she'd be a calming presence on the morning of my wedding with nerves and timelines and what-not! I crossed my fingers and sent her a message and she was so obliging that she actually managed to fit me in even though she already had a wedding booking that morning. She was prompt, professional, and *as expected* very chill. I didn't even do a trial with her because I trusted her that much. I looked through the photos on her site and was confident she'd create what I wanted. I just had a good dialogue with her beforehand and was very specific with what I wanted (sent her pics etc.).

Amy was amazing! I was able to visit her awesome studio in Toronto for a trial, which I was super pleased with. On our wedding day she did makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, my mom and a little something for our flower girl too. I rarely do more than mascara, so I was way out of my comfort zone when trying to decide what to do, but Amy made great suggestions and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day. Amy and her team did such an incredible job with our hair and makeup for my wedding. We had several comments on how great all our makeup was, and it not only looked amazing in the photos, but it literally held up all day, despite a bit of rain and lots of tears!
I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so I wanted my makeup to look elegant, yet natural, and Amy did a great job listening to and creating exactly what I wanted, while giving tips on what she thought would look best.
I would definitely recommend her to future brides and will go back and see her if I ever need my makeup done for a special occasion!

I highly recommend Dolluxe Beauty! Amy and her team did the makeup and hair for my family and I for my wedding. And everyone looked lovely all night long! What I particularly appreciated about Amy is that she really listened to me. I wanted a more natural look and she found a way for me to look great on camera while not being overly made-up. And my hair, which was pinned-up only on one side, withstood all the dancing and wild times. Thanks again Amy!

Amy is amazing! I absolutely recommend her! Misfortune brought myself and my bridal party of 4 plus MOB and MOG to her services. I had experienced what most brides would be horrified by when I had another makeup/hair artist who ended up being disastrous (putting it nicely). I immediately sought out a replacement one month before our wedding. I wish I had found Amy before going with a recommendation! She responded to me quickly, was informative, and was SO nice. She really saved our day! My makeup and hair trial went well, she was easy to talk to, my fiancé (now husband!) came home after we were done and said it seemed like we knew each other for years! As luck would have it, on the day of our wedding it was raining! Ahhh! She and Melissa (an additional hair artist who Amy brought on) were amazing! Our make-up and hair was on point! We all received many compliments that day. After taking some photos outside for our first look, my hair and make-up was still intact from the rain (well much better than the torrential down pour we had just experienced). The funny thing is my sister/bridesmaid accidentally took Amy's phone when we left for the limo and again, Amy saved our day! They took one look at me and they were on it! They retouched everything and I was back ready to walk down the aisle. I went on a long tangent but I'm hoping my fantastic experience will bring you, the reader, to yours as well! I completely dropped the ball on writing this review (honeymoon, new job, new marriage, and new place!) and she deserves a marvellous review. Believe all the outstanding/excellent/wonderful things you hear about Amy, she is the BEST choice for your wedding!

Amy is an extremely talented makeup artist. She did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids.

First off let me say that she is very responsive to emails/messages, not only does she reply as soon as possible but you feel like you are talking to a friend. Amy is so down to earth and friendly that no matter the location or event you can't help but feel completely at ease in her presence. With her talent and personality she is a Super Star. I would recommend Amy's Makeup services to absolutely everyone!!! We all loved the end results and I certainly felt like a Princess
