Master Artist and Stylist Annika Rayman founded AnnimationsMkUp in 2014 to change the face of bridal beauty, literally! We live to provide professional, friendly service with outstanding results. No more awkward, silent wedding mornings with a stranger who does what they want to do instead of what makes you feel like you! Since then, we've grown to a national team of 40+ with a five-star rating on WeddingWire and several publications in bridal magazines.
The AnnimationsMkUp Standard blends both the beauty and business sides of a Bridal Beauty Wedding Vendor. Our aim is to not only have you looking and feeling your absolute most beautiful on your day, but also relaxed, pampered, and care-free, able to focus 100% on the magical moments of your wedding after having the most ideal morning.
The AnnimationsMkUp basic offering for each wedding is as follows:
Beauty - Each party member receives professional makeup applications with luxe skin prep and lashes included, and professional hair styling, on top of which, for the bride, we attach (if needed) any hair accessories or veils, etc, that you may have and also provide a touch-up kit to stay fresh throughout the day.
Business - We work with you to prepare for your Big Day, making the process as easy and stress-free as possible
To book, we take the flat amount along with a signed contract, and the remainder is due the week before the wedding. Once received, we sign in kind and reply with a booking email that contains a link to create your personal booking portal. This portal allows you to view all correspondence between us, access all files, and make payments. Everything is online, no need for downloads or digging through emails.
We follow up with you by a planned schedule to complete our questionnaire, book and complete your trial, create a working document to collect the looks and needs of each of your bridal party members, create a thoroughly detailed morning timeline following the schedule of your other vendors, and finally, the check-ins prior to the day itself.

Amazing hair and makeup services!
For my own services I specifically requested Annika and it was the best decision I could have made - she took lots of care to let me know what she was doing throughout both services and asked me questions about what I wanted and liked for my hair and makeup, which resulted in the most show-stopping wedding day glam of my dreams 🥹🤍 her attention to detail is unmatched - she even trimmed some of my dead ends for me (with my permission beforehand of course) so my hair would fall more smooth and even at the back! Not only was I obsessed with my look, but it lasted THE. ENTIRE. DAY. right up to the end of the night, I was packing up my florals with perfect glam waves and makeup that was fully intact after a full 13 hours of outdoor photos, outdoor ceremony, lots of tears, and dancing my tail off at the reception!

Beyond Happy!
She did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, my bridal preview, and, of course, my wedding day. I can confidently say I was absolutely blown away by how I looked on my wedding day. I told Annika I wanted to feel like a golden goddess mermaid, and somehow, she made me feel even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined.
Annika’s team was also amazing. My five bridesmaids were all in love with their hair and makeup! I highly recommend Annika and her team!

We did have a couple glitches with the online system for emailing back-and-forth and had some delayed responses leading up to the wedding. All in all it was not major and everything worked out perfectly!
Left Me Scrambling
She did, and let me know that for all of the bridesmaids and myself who do not know their "skin description/type" or have a dedicated skin care routine, they will need to sign a waiver indicating that AnnimationsMkUp will not be responsible for the lack of longevity of the makeup if it doesn't hold. I thought that was odd, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere in my contract, but I moved on and tried to collect more information for her.
She had then let me know that her artists were able to refuse service if they did not have enough information about skin type, etc. This worried me and I went through my entire contract and there was no clause about this, the only clause about refusal of service was for aggressive behavior, uncomfortable environment, etc. I asked her to call me at this point to go over the contract and clarify.
I mentioned many times to her that I do not have a dedicated skin care routine, I know nothing about makeup and don't wear it often and neither do my bridesmaids. After some back and forth, and (to me) implications that I was unclean, she decided she did not want to work with me. I was left high and dry with less than 2 months before my wedding.
Afterwards I got my deposit back and found many other companies willing to work with me, and more than happy with the details I originally provided to Annika. Annika has since tried to attack my character for speaking out about my experience, I really hope this is a one-off experience but wanted to share my almost year long experience.
