Master Artist and Stylist Annika Rayman founded AnnimationsMkUp in 2014 to change the face of Bridal Beauty, literally! We live to provide professional, friendly service with outstanding results. No more awkward, silent wedding mornings with a stranger who does what they want to do instead of what makes you feel like you! Since then we've grown to a national team of 40+ with a 5 Star Rating on WeddingWire and several publications in bridal magazines.
The AnnimationsMkUp Standard blends both the beauty and business sides of a Bridal Beauty Wedding Vendor. Our aim is to not only have you looking and feeling your absolute most beautiful on your day, but also relaxed, pampered, and care-free, able to focus 100% on the magical moments of your wedding after having the most ideal morning.
The AnnimationsMkUp basic offering for each wedding is as follows:
Beauty - Each Party Member recieves
Professional Make Up Applications with luxe skin prep and lashes included, and Professional Hair Styling, on top of which for the Bride we attach (if needed) any hair accessories or veils ex., that you may have and also provide a Touch Up Kit to stay fresh throughtout the day.
Business - We work with you to prepare for your Big Day, making the process as easy and stress-free as possible
To book, we take the flat amount along with a signed contract, and the remainder is due the week before the wedding. Once received, we sign in kind and reply with a booking e-mail that contains a link to create your personal booking portal. This portal allows you to view all correspondence between us, access all files, and make payments. Everything is online, no need for downloads or digging through e-mails.
We follow-up with you by a planned schedule to complete our questionnaire, book and complete your trial, create a working document to collect the looks and needs of each of your bridal party members, create a thoroughly detailed morning timeline following the schedule of your other vendors, and finally the check-ins prior to the Day itself.

Wonderful.
Annika did a wonderful job for my bridal trial and wedding day. She was super easy to work with and offered suggestions and tips to make sure I looked my best. Honestly, I’m still surprised with how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. I wish that my extensions matched my curl pattern a bit better and that the shimmer used on the day of matched my skin tone but those were small hiccups. Overall, Annika did an amazing job. She made me and my MOH look beautiful.

Beautiful and professional!
We had a great time working with Annimations and we all looked and felt beautiful for our wedding day! As two brides, we were initially drawn to Annimations from a friend's recommendation as an inclusive vendor. Annika put together the "Love Is Love" package which didn't penalize us with extra costs just because we were two brides wanting hair and makeup done. We had hair and makeup done for us two brides plus 6 bridesmaids and our mother's hair with 3 artists in 5 hours. Everything ran smoothly and we finished even a little bit early!
We did have a couple glitches with the online system for emailing back-and-forth and had some delayed responses leading up to the wedding. All in all it was not major and everything worked out perfectly!

Left Me Scrambling
I had a contract with AnnimationsMkUp almost a year before my Sept. 13th wedding - they had requested I fill out a specific document and use it as an example which I returned to them as promptly as possible (I had a death in the family, but this was months prior to my wedding). The owner, Annika, was understanding and once I submitted it I heard nothing. I followed up a few weeks later to book my trial and confirm she had received it.
She did, and let me know that for all of the bridesmaids and myself who do not know their "skin description/type" or have a dedicated skin care routine, they will need to sign a waiver indicating that AnnimationsMkUp will not be responsible for the lack of longevity of the makeup if it doesn't hold. I thought that was odd, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere in my contract, but I moved on and tried to collect more information for her.
She had then let me know that her artists were able to refuse service if they did not have enough information about skin type, etc. This worried me and I went through my entire contract and there was no clause about this, the only clause about refusal of service was for aggressive behavior, uncomfortable environment, etc. I asked her to call me at this point to go over the contract and clarify.
I mentioned many times to her that I do not have a dedicated skin care routine, I know nothing about makeup and don't wear it often and neither do my bridesmaids. After some back and forth, and (to me) implications that I was unclean, she decided she did not want to work with me. I was left high and dry with less than 2 months before my wedding.
Afterwards I got my deposit back and found many other companies willing to work with me, and more than happy with the details I originally provided to Annika. Annika has since tried to attack my character for speaking out about my experience, I really hope this is a one-off experience but wanted to share my almost year long experience.

Amazing Experience
I had my hair and makeup done with Annika and Jay for 3 of my wedding events and it was the best experience ever! I've had a really bad experience with hair and makeup before so I was super nervous for my own wedding but Annika and Jay did a wonderful job! They listened to exactly what I wanted, what I liked, and what I disliked. They also gave very helpful suggestions and were super flexible when I had to change timings. Would totally recommend this team!!

Great experience!
I had a great experience working with Annika at Annimations and her team! The team was very professional and the pricing is very reasonable. I did have to send a few follow up emails to get my timeline from her, but Annika was very accommodating to changes to my timeline that I requested. She did an amazing job selecting the artists for me and my group! My main makeup artist was Rebecca and she did such a beautiful natural and soft glam and a gorgeous bun that lasted so well throughout the night. Kris did soft glam for the rest of the group and my bridesmaids were raving about how happy they were with their makeup. Overall I would definitely recommend Annimations!

Highly recommend!
Annimations Makeup made me look and feel so beautiful. ❤️ I received SO many compliments about my hair & makeup. Annika made me feel very comfortable in both my preview and the day of the wedding, which is something that was very important to me. She was kind and professional and answered any questions I threw her way. Shout out to Nilou as well for my beautiful engagement shoot makeup! Suffice to say I left my husband wow’ed each time. The packages available are very fair in terms of pricing and what is offered. I really appreciated the flexibility there. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have an upcoming wedding or event!

Absolutely Fantastic!
I found AnnimationsMkUp after a horrible experience with another hair and makeup "artist". So after my first bad experience I was very anxious about booking without a trial first. Annika was so kind and explained how her business works the the girls that work for her and their would have to be a booking before a trial. Annika then went above and beyond with offering that she could do the trial and that I would be booking her as my wedding day artist if I liked her work. Obviously there was a small charge for the extra trial but other artists wouldn't even consider to offer this. The first trial was absolutely wonderful. I never wear makeup and felt so pretty. So I booked with Annika to have myself and 5 others done with hair and makeup. A few days before my wedding I had my second trial with Annika, I picked a very unique style for my hair which I'll admit was not successful the first try. But with Annika's positive attitude and her great love toy her clients happy and feel as beautiful as possible. She gave it another try and omg, yes it turned out great! There was few things for feed back on the makeup as well during the trial. On the wedding day Annika and Bex arrived right as scheduled with bubbly positive attitudes, that lifted the moods of the half sleepy bridal party. Annika and Bex quickly turned my hotel room into a portable beauty parlor. The way the scheduled my brial party gave my girls time to run around and do so for me, which was so helpful. All my girls loved their looks and got exactly what they asked for. Annika absolutely wonderfully nailed my look. All the feed back that was discussed at the trial she did it perfectly. Annika is so through and takes such pride in her work and business and it shows completely in her work. I'm so glad I had Annika as part of my wedding day, she truly make the day start off great.
