When I tell you I had the most amazing experience with Cortney and her team, it's an understatement! They helped with so many of my questions in the planning phase, delivered an amazing trial and still exceeded my every expecting on the wedding day! I absolutely loved talking to them the morning of my wedding, and they made myself and bridesmaids feel the absolute most beautiful. The amount of compliments I received the day of is unmatched. I can't believe how much they made me feel like a model. I am still in awe and would recommend their team to everyone!

Working with Jay for my wedding trial and wedding day was an absolute pleasure! She did an amazing job on hair and makeup for both me (the bride) and my mom. During the trial, she was patient and kind, adapting as we shared small changes we wanted. On the wedding day, I felt so beautiful and got so many compliments on the makeup. Outstanding job. Cort and Danielle were very easy to reach via email and happy to help as well.

Cort and her team at Blush Avenue were awesome for the morning of my wedding. We had an early start and the team showed up smiling and ready to go. We were ahead of schedule in the end, so lots of time for touch ups on both hair and makeup for all 8 girls. I ended up switching my hair style from the trial we did, and Cort was very flexible and made sure it was what I wanted. She even stayed behind a few hours and waited for pictures to be taken before she pinned my veil in.
The team was respectful and friendly!
The only downside would be that the trial was an additional payment.

From the very first email and first trial to the moment I walked down the aisle, the experience was fabulous. Cortney and her team were attentive and listened to myself and my bridal party, they made us feel beautiful and glamorous.

My hair was gorgeous and my make-up was just as I imagined, very natural and flawless. Everyone was thrilled with their hair and make-up and looked absolutely stunning.

Not only are Cortney and her team very talented, but they were also very kind, calming and professional.

I will start this review by saying overall I was happy with how my hair and makeup looked on my wedding day. Was it 100% exactly what I wanted? No. But did it last all day and look objectively good? Yes. For this reason I am rating blush highly and would recommend but I must say there were quite a few things along the way I did not enjoy throughout this process.

1. The communication from the start was not the greatest. Accepting my date then sending me an email saying it's fully booked. She corrected saying the email was accidentally sent as a 2024 date. I had to resubmit the inquiry form a few times in order for it to be processed.

2. This company seems to be owned by Cortney but then she has multiple stylists under her. The two that came to do my hair and makeup didn't even know each other so it really is the vibe that she just has artists from everywhere. On that note, I was annoyed that I didn't get to pick my hair stylist or makeup artist which is unfortunate as they have varying degree of skill and style.

3. They were not flexible with dates or times of trial appointments. They just gave me a random date rather than asking my availability. I had to request different times as I like most people work during the week. I will also note that the studio they use is extremely small. My trial appointment was in the morning and the sun was blasting through the windows - you can imagine how hot I was sitting in the chair with the sun directly on me in a tiny room. They were also not flexible with returning the hair extensions. I do not live close to the salon and I tried to pick days I was free from work to return them and they said it was not possible.

4. I felt like they didn't really listen to what I wanted.
I sent inspo pics on my initial request. I feel they didn't look at them or save them as they asked again for inspo pics on both the wedding and trial date and had no idea what I wanted. Then when I asked for certain changes to make it better it didn't seem like the artists was amenable to doing them.

5. The hair stylist was not able to do hair for my mom and grooms mom the way they wanted. Both are older women, of course I understand it is harder with fine hair but for some reason it was difficult to produce a look with a bang that they like. Neither were happy with their look.

Like I said, overall at the end of the day my hair and makeup were ok and it lasted. I asked for a warmer bronzey sparkle look and I feel the look I had was a bit cooler toned and no sparkles. The hair I had for my trial was different than the hair I got for my wedding. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was pretty close anyway (you can see in the photos attached). They also came prepared the day of and made somewhat quick work of my wedding party. I felt the stylists were not very friendly or social and the vibe was a bit weird - my wedding party was not very impressed. I'm not sure if it's because my wedding party was small so maybe they didn't care as much? Not sure what went wrong but I personally wouldn't book again.

The team at Blush Avenue was amazing for my wedding day! Jay, Candace and Andrea were all fabulous and everyone looked perfect! They were organized through the whole process and kept us on time the day of! Highly recommend to anyone!!

Cortney and her team at Blush Avenue are absolutely incredible! From my hair and makeup trial, to my bridal shower and wedding day, working with Blush Avenue was a great experience that I wish I could relive again. Cortney has created an amazing collective of hair and makeup artists that is highly organized and a pleasure to work with. They started my wedding day on the best note, full of positivity and transformed myself and my bridesmaids into the most beautiful versions of themselves. I can’t say enough good things about Cort and her team. She has done my hair for all important events in my life, and I won’t go anywhere else. She is so fun, relaxed and chill to have around. She works literal magic with your hair and will not leave until everyone is thrilled with their look. Incredibly organized, professional and an all around joy to work with!

I can’t say enough positive things about our hair! From the start, Courtney listened to my concerns with past hairstylists and gave me tips and suggestions all before even booking with them!! We exchanged many emails as I was unsure which stylist and style would work best for me, and not only did she reassure me, but she sent many pictures and added images to her Instagram to give me a better idea of other times her team had done similar looks! Like how incredible is that?!??

Candace did my trial as well as the wedding hair for myself, my mom, and my two sisters and DAMN did she ever kill it! We all felt and looked stunning (if I do say so myself lol) - seriously though she brought my vision to life and was a true pleasure to work with!!

I will also recommend to anyone to do the trial, Candace was so helpful and after the trial we chatted about changing up some products since my hair didn’t quite like the hairspray - she knew exactly what to use instead and the day of the wedding she was fully prepared to make me look and feel amazing. My hair held up from 9am getting ready to 4am the next day!!! Just amazing!!
