Amazing experience despite the pandemic!
I was worried that dress shopping during the pandemic wouldn't be the experience that I had envisioned however the staff at Sash & Bustle treated me like royalty and I had an AMAZING experience at their shop! The shop is well organized, adorably decorated and makes you feel like you are right at home - all precautions have been taken to ensure social distancing and safety. I was able to try many styles and dresses while staying within my budget. Veronica was attentive, listening to everything that I said and she made a point to ask how I felt in each dress. She knew exactly what I needed and was patient with me while I made my decision. They have a great assortment of Wtoo and Willowby dresses, which are hard to come by in Ontario. Although they do not do alterations in house, they were able to give lots of recommendations of seamstresses that their customers have used in the past. I am so happy that I said YES at Sash & Bustle - I can't recommend them enough!Sent on 25/07/2020

A dream come true!
I walked into my appointment not knowing what to expect. It was my first-time bridal gown shopping, and Sash & Bustle made it an experience I’ll never forget. From Tara who greeted me and my Sparkle Squad, and Hallie who guided me toward finding THE ONE. The process was seamless and I was never overwhelmed. Thank you to Vanessa and everyone there who contributed to making me feel like the bride I’ve always dreamed of becoming.Sent on 29/01/2019

My experience with Sash & Bustle was amazing! Paddy was my consultant and he was so much fun! He really listened to what I liked and didn't like in the dresses. And took his time with me, I never felt rushed. When I came back for my follow up appt. he kept me on track, seeing that the original one I picked out was still my fav. I can't wait to receive my dress!Sent on 02/07/2019

Sash and Bustle's boutique is gorgeous! Their dresses are high end and expensive but beautiful! I felt like a princess standing in front of their mirrors. What I really liked is that team is pro at accessorizing. For every dress I tried on, they added on a belt or veil so I can see what it looked like, and it makes such a big difference! Overall, a super fun experience to have with bridesmaids :)Sent on 30/01/2020

Team of Sash & Bustle
I studied Business Management at Conestoga College and Ryerson University. In addition to my extensive education, I invested 11 years in the hospitality industry, filling roles from entry level to management. After working with more than 75 brides to plan and execute their weddings, I earned that this overwhelming task is much more enjoyable when the people assisting you are friendly, realistic, and down to earth – and that’s the philosophy I bring to Sash & Bustle. While much of my work happens behind the scenes making the store's operations run seamlessly, I make it a priority to meet each and every bride. I'm like the Sash & Bustle momma bear, helping ensure that each stylist is supported in providing the one-on-one, attentive service we stand for. When I got married I wore one of my favourite Canadian designers Truvelle for my special day. My husband Dillon couldn’t hold his happy tears back.
My love of art and design began at a young age and eventually led me to study at Ryerson University’s School of Fashion. As a student, I was recognized with several awards. My designs were the People’s Choice Winner in the 2013 Toronto Art of Fashion competition and I even had a leather jacket design chosen to be produced by Danier. I bring my aesthetic gifts to creating a strong visual identity for Sash & Bustle. While managing the shopping experience and buying with my sister, I also oversee the store’s social media and creation of our visual advertisements. I recently became a Sash & Bustle bride myself when I married my high school sweetheart, Eric, wearing an incredible Carol Hannah gown.
What makes you love what you do at S&B?
Simply being around love. Hearing how couples meet, fall in love and make the decision to celebrate it gives me all the warm and fuzzies!
Who is your favourite designer in the S&B collection?
Ooo! Fav designer is pretty hard with our selection… but if I had to pick, I’d say Robert Bullock.
What S&B bridal gown would you rock to your wedding?
Okay… if I could… I would start out sleek and modern for the ceremony in RBB’s Rea, eat and look sweet in Truvelle’s Carrall and party hard in KWH’s Lottie! That’s more than one though…lol
How do you love to style and accessorize a bride?
I like to style and accessorize according to a bride’s personal style. A simple sparkle is never a bad choice and I am a huge sucker for florals.
What’s on your playlist right now?
RuPaul’s Super Model on repeat, anything Motown or funky, and a splash of 90’s throwbacks
Have any secret talents?
Secret talents are secret for a reason!
Favourite thing to do when you’re not killing it at S&B?
I love watching movies with my guy Steve and spending time on patios with my girls. Basically sitting a lot…
