If I could leave 10 stars I would. Lucas was FANTASTIC for our wedding night. He did a great job reading the energy of the room and kept nearly all our guests dancing until the very end (even some of my older aunts and uncles). Several of our guests raved about him the next day as he is very skilled with mixing various beats/lyrics/genres together seamlessly! Leading up to the wedding, he was also very helpful and organized with his communication. I would also like to mention that he stepped in to help finish decorating our reception room when the decorators were running behind displaying an above and beyond level of service. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation! Best night ever!!

We cannot stress how incredible Lucas was for us on our big day! His entire process from booking to wrap-up was clear, concise, and professional. We had several check-ins to discuss all aspects of our wedding's audio and music prior to the big day. His intake process was detailed and made sure every moment was planned for. At the same time, he was able to skillfully improvise and take inspiration from our playlists rather than requiring us to dictate every minute of music for the entire day.

He was incredibly professional and showed up to our venue well ahead of our ceremony time to set up and check audio to ensure that our ceremony went smoothly. I think he was one of the first people to show up that morning. He had backup systems ready because the wind made a standing mic difficult to use, and had them in place with no delays. The equipment was discrete or decorated to fit in.

He went out of his way to help our MC feel confident by providing him with a script to support his speeches and announcements and it gave him immense relief! Lucas has a lot of general knowledge about weddings, working the crowd, and how to make things go well. The extra insight was very helpful to ensure all the little things were covered.

Lucas kept a laid-back, calm demeanor that helped keep our nerves in check! He was very professional the entire day. During the reception, the music was perfect, and after when everybody hit the dance floor he really kept it going with great transitions and reading the room. Definitely not the kind of DJ who just hits shuffle and sits back to let the music play.

His setup and equipment looked great, visually it all looks really good and several guests commented how great the whole experience was. He was personable and able to chat, entertain, and made this aspect of our wedding very stress free. We can't recommend Lucas enough, and sadly google only lets us go up to 5 stars!

Lucas was such a joy to work with as our DJ and MC. From the start of our wedding planning process, all the way throughout leading to the day of, Lucas has always been extremely kind and responsive to any and all questions, requests for suggestions, and changes that we have asked for.

We had an idea of the type of music we wanted and the overall vibe for our guests, but ultimately left it for Lucas to determine what was best on the day of. He exceeded our expectations and the guests loved the music and energy that he played such a big role in creating. You know everyone had a good time when there's lots of jumping, screaming, and yelling out music lyrics.

Lucas rocked it and we have nothing but the highest compliments for his professionalism and talent. If you are looking for a great DJ, definitely book with him.

Lucas encompassed everything we were looking for in a DJ throughout the entire planning process. He truly got to know us and what we wanted. He was punctual, professional and super fun! He was so easy to work with, he read the crowd, and he transitioned our entire day with ease! Not only was he our DJ, Lucas also acted as MC for our very small, intimate wedding and did an absolutely fantastic job! 10/10 for this guy!!!!!!!

In the months leading up to the wedding, Lucas was organized, responsive, helpful in the planning process, and over all great. We had him dj the ceremony and the reception.
He arrived early for the ceremony, he started the songs at the perfect moment, and queued up the mics perfectly. He was flexible and communicative during our wedding and helped make our day stress free.
He also did an amazing job at the reception. We heard nothing but compliments about his DJing and set up the whole night. He played a great selection of songs to dance to and was receptive to song requests.
Really, you can't go wrong with hiring him!

Lucas is an awesome DJ!
We had Lucas DJ our ceremony and reception at our wedding this August. He was helpful and prompt when answering our questions during the planning stage and met with us via zoom to discuss what we were looking for and to explain his own DJ style. He allowed us to customize the performance to suit our vision for our wedding and met with us a week before the wedding to finalize all the song choices to make sure we were all on the same page.
Lucas had a very tasteful and unobtrusive booth set-up to play the music we requested during our ceremony. His timing was perfect on all the songs and the volume level was appropriate.
During cocktail hour and dinner, the music was more subdued and quiet to allow for conversation.
When it came time for the reception, he was able to read the room and play music that suited our tastes while still getting people on the dancefloor. There was never a moment where there wasn't at least 10 guests dancing! Everyone commented on how fun the music was, how awesome he was at responding to the crowd, and how he lined up the songs perfectly to keep everyone dancing. He played several songs throughout the night that we specifically requested and he was also open to taking requests on the fly- while avoiding songs we asked him not to play (like the macarena).

On the wedding night there were a few hiccups with the lighting in the reception room (not Lucas's own equipment) and some timing of announcements, but Lucas acted in a professional manner and was extremely flexible and adapted to keep things running smoothly.
The event coordinator and other staff at our venue commented on how professional he was and got his contact information to help promote him to others wishing for a DJ for their events.

We had a great time having Lucas DJ our wedding, and we recommend you do the same! You cannot go wrong.

Do not hesitate to book with Lucas! He did an absolutely amazing job keeping the dance floor packed for 5 hours straight. We couldn't imagine a better DJ to have at our wedding and we had many people comment on how good the music was. Lucas was a great DJ to have at our wedding. He was amazing to communicate with through email, he has a form for you to fill out from music you like and don't like, and he sets up a Zoom meeting about a month out from our wedding. We discussed different music genres and what we were wanting for music for our wedding. He came early to the venue to set up to be ready before the reception even opened up to ensure he was ready to go. He has a really cool light set up for dancing that changes colours to the beat of the music. All of my guests kept saying how great the music was at our wedding. 100% recommend Lucas for your party/wedding for music!

From the beginning Lucas was easy to get work with and communicate with. He works his hardest before the wedding to fully understand what you are looking for and wanting and makes that come to life during the wedding. He was able to make adjustments on the fly while working to ensure that everything went smoothly. The music that he has fit perfectly for our wedding.
