Michael, Brianna, and Maryanne were fantastic at my work event! They provided great entertainment with piano and singing, which everyone enjoyed during cocktail hour. Michael played some popular hits and took all of our requests. The father and daughter duo were very professional, outgoing, and fun! I highly recommend them!

Michael and his daughter Brianna were absolutely fantastic DJs at our wedding (January 2019). Michael was the DJ at our friend's wedding and we wanted them for ours. Michael is such a reliable, helpful, easy to reach and fun guy! They had our guests dancing all night long and hit the mark on reading the crowd and giving a little something for everyone's tastes. Our guests were raving about them during and after the wedding.

We had some last minute changes due to sound issues within the venue and had Michael start earlier than planned. He was so helpful and dependable!

We bookedMIchael as our wedding DJ and he was awesome! When we made some last minute changes he did it with no problems. He responded well to the crowd and could read them really well. He also seemed to be having as much fun being the DJ as we were having dancing and rocking out. He listened to what we requested and he followed our do not play list. We hired Michael to be our DJ on our special day. The music went so well that everybody just kept dancing! The music was the popular music at all times. Michael really knew what he was doing and read the crowd very well! Even someone who had her wedding two years ago said that she wished to know him earlier! It is not kidding when Michael says he knows his job.

Michael is not only professional and specialized in music, he is also responsible and patient. We had him on our rehearsal day, he was so accommodating and he waited extra time just to make sure we had the right music at the right time. Michael and Steve from Michael James Entertainment brought their A-game to our wedding at the Vancouver Aquarium on July 26, 2015. We can't thank them enough for their quick problem solving during the set up. It was a venue that neither of us had experience in before, but Michael looked at the floor plan and made it work.

We gave Michael a "must play" list, which included some cultural music, and he was very accommodating. Our cake cutting and first dance songs were a bit more custom and he was still able to play those without any issues. He had a great ear for the floor and balanced the flow of the night.

We have received many compliments from guests on the pacing and the song choices. Overall, the night went without a hitch and we couldn't be more pleased.

Michael James Entertainment was very versatile when it came to the choice of songs and made sure everyone was having a blast. He is a humble, good guy and it was a smooth ride with our wedding night, couldn't have asked for a better dj to play at our wedding!

Music selection was superb. Michael keep our guests dancing and entertained throughout our event. We would highly recommend his services for any venue as his cost was reasonable and he was very professional and entertaining.

Michael and Brianna did a fantastic job DJing for our wedding! From the first time I made contact with him, Michael was very professional. He always responded quickly to all my questions and travelled out to my city for a meeting before I decided to book with him.

At our reception, Michael and Brianna were right on queue with the music for our special moments (first dance, parents dance, etc.) and incorporated the few songs we had requested for dinner and dancing. We let them have free reign when it came to the dance music, and they did a great job reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone out on the floor.

At about 10:30 that night, the majority of our guests went home, leaving us with 8 of our closest friends who decided to stay until midnight. Michael and Brianna kept the party going though, and that last hour and a half with our inner circle was one of my favourite parts of the evening!
