I searched high and low and had quite a few interview phone calls with other DJ's in the Okanagan and I have to say it was an "instant yes" to book with John once we had a conversation over the phone. He responded with transparency to all the questions I had. He was very funny, kind, and professional. Overall he was such a highlight of our wedding, he had everyone dancing in no time! And really nailed it with the music choices! Everyone loved him!! Thank you again John!

John with Instant DJ was phenomenal for our wedding just outside of Salmon Arm. He had handled a few weddings at our venue previously so he was very familiar with the layout which made things very seamless.

All of our guests raved about the music and how fun and laid back John was as well. He was extremely easy to work with and he nailed all the little details for our big day.

John is professional, extremely flexible with amendment of songs even the day before the wedding. Being a nervous bride, I was changing my mind all the time on processional songs. John was attentive to emails, he helped with day of planning and ushering guests to the right area. When it came to the dance floor, he did an amazing job playing the top songs and he read the crowd really well. Honestly, could not have asked for a better DJ!!

John was fantastic! He was super easy to work with, and created such a fun atmosphere with is set- up… He kept the party going all night long! I couldn’t recommend him enough

John was an awesome DJ at our wedding. I had prepared a Playlist ahead of time for him to play at the wedding and he also asked us if there were anything specific songs we wanted played at certain times. Definitely recommend hiring John as a DJ for any event. Thanks again John!!! Excellent job!!

We have booked John for next Summer and we cannot wait for him to work our wedding! We have seen him in action at a friends wedding before and are so pumped to have the biggest party our family has ever seen!

John was amazing for our wedding! We had two venues - one for the ceremony which did not have any power, and another venue for the reception. John was very organized and set up at both venues before our ceremony started. He brought out his battery pack for the ceremony venue that powered an electric keyboard for our ceremony music. This was perfect because there was no generator noise!

At the reception he coordinated with our wedding planner and photographer really well to make sure everything like the grand entrance and music for the slideshow were perfect. He even added little things like some game show music when one of the speeches included a trivia component, which was perfect. When it came time for dancing, John absolutely nailed it. We provided him with a list of songs we would like to have played, and he took that and really ran with it. He left some songs out, but looking back it was for the best, and the flow of the night was awesome and the dance floor was packed until the lights came on.

Leading up to the wedding, John was quick to respond to emails and was happy to meet to discuss any details or answer questions we had. I would absolutely recommend John to anyone looking for an amazing wedding DJ!
