DJ Andy Soul of Andy Soul Entertainment is your one-stop shop for your wedding music needs. This deejay brings his fun and positive attitude to create a fun atmosphere that will attract family and friends to the dance floor. He will keep the party amped. He has worked with a variety of wedding vendors in past events and if required, can assist you in finding suitable ones for your celebration.

Services offered

In the design of the playlist, Andy collaborates with the to-be-married to make sure they will be completely satisfied. As an established DJ, he adds to the lively and joyous atmosphere of the occasion. He prides himself in being able to "read the crowd" on the dancefloor. As well, with his high quality equipment, which includes an award-winning Italian made PA Sound System coupled with dynamic multi-effect lighting, he is sure to impress.

How he works

When he is not running his own mobile DJ business with Andy Soul Entertainment, he is professionally employed with Canada's leading wedding DJ company - Airwaves Music and has successsfully DJ'd several high caliber weddings through this establishment. Finally, Andy also performs as the lead singer of Vancouver-based cover band, "Phazers On Stun".

Andy understands the hard work, effort and time that couples put into planning a wedding. Thus, he is dedicated always being prepared and fulfilling the prospective newlyweds musical needs. He will interview the couple into order to learn their music preferences and the logistics of the special day to make sure his end of the event runs smoothly and he is able to create a fantastic mix of songs.

A great DJ!

We had the pleasure of having Andy DJ at our wedding in Whistler, and he did an incredible job. He arrived early and well-prepared, making sure that everything was set up perfectly for the ceremony and reception.

One of the things that stood out about Andy was how he was able to quickly and smoothly transition between the ceremony and cocktail hour locations, ensuring that there was no lag time. It was clear that he was experienced and had everything under control, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.

Another thing we appreciated about Andy was his ability to read the crowd. Our original list of songs didn't seem to get people dancing, but Andy was able to switch things up and find the perfect vibe to get everyone moving. He really knew how to play music that appealed to all ages and had a great feel for what the crowd wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to keep the energy high throughout the night. We highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a skilled and adaptable DJ.

Soul of your wedding - he is the absolute best!

DJ Andy soul was a gift from heaven for our wedding. He was the absolute best and we couldn't have asked for someone better. Very clear and precise communication throughout, prepared an excellent playlist for the wedding and asked the needed questions and did a wonderful job on the day. I needed a DJ who reads the crowd well, plays great applicable songs, does not seek limelight but rather looks to make the event shine and is courteous towards the needs of the bride and groom. DJ Andy Soul was everything we could ask for. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail and reception and is a major reason why our wedding was a huge success. Kept the party going!

Andy was great to work with - he was flexible and accommodating when we had to reschedule due to COVID. And he worked with us along the way to make sure our day was perfect. He kept the music flowing and had our guests our on the dance floor all night. Would not hesitate to recommend him!

I’m sore from dancing ALL NIGHT

Just got married this past weekend and Andy was phenomenal! We got so many compliments on the music. An amazing mix of pop, rock, country and everything in between for everyone young and old. Everyone (including my heavily pregnant close friend and one who had recently given birth!) was on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted.

He set up at 2 separate locations as our ceremony site was different from our reception. He also MCd which was great and helped the evening run super smoothly.

Our wedding dance floor was packed

We met with Andy about 9 months prior to our big day. He guided us through everything with ease- there was minimal back and forth, but most important of all, our ceremony and dance party were lit because of Andy!

He could read the crowd so easily and kept our dance floor full for hours and hours! We recommend Andy without hesitation for whatever type of event you require his services for!

I can't say enough good things about our wedding DJ, Andy Soul. From the moment we started working with him, he demonstrated the utmost professionalism and a deep understanding of how to keep the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the night.

Leading up to the wedding, Andy was incredibly thorough in his preparations, making sure to understand our musical preferences and the overall vibe we wanted for our special day. However, what truly sets Andy apart is his ability to read the room and adapt on the fly! We quickly realized that it's best to give him the reins because he has an incredible knack for spinning a wide variety of music that appeals to all age groups.

Our wedding was a musical journey, seamlessly transitioning from old-school rap and R&B to Vinahouse beats, EDM, and even incorporating beautiful Indian songs that paid homage to our cultural backgrounds. Andy's music selection was nothing short of exceptional, and he had everyone on their feet busting moves

If you're looking for a DJ who not only meets but exceeds your expectations, Andy is your guy! 10/10 recommendation for his services!

Great DJ for weddings and parties

Andy was so great to work with. He was so responsive and always available during the planning before our wedding. He met with us before our wedding day to understand the schedule and what type of music to play. He played all of our requests and was quick to play our guest request during our reception. We highly recommend Andy for any wedding or special event.
