Our friend hired DJ Rob Steel at his wedding and we had an epic time dancing the night away so it was a no brainer to hire him for our wedding! In the planning phase, Rob was excellent at outlining what he needed to do the job. On our wedding day, he was prepared and executed our ceremony perfectly, MC'ed really well and kept the dance floor going all night long.

Rob genuinely loves what he does! It showed from the moment I inquired about his services and through booking & planning. He was such a great vendor to communicate with and Rob was lovely for offering all sorts of guidance.

Rob then absolutely rocked the outdoor ceremony & indoor-outdoor reception. Rob, myself and my coordinator Gaby had to come up with a makeshift plan for the ceremony and Rob was super accommodating and had fun with it. He then carried on to DJ/MC the evening and even though it was awfully hot in the venue, he contributed to everyone having a great evening (mostly outside on the patio) w/ dancing, singing along, etc. Everyone really enjoyed having Rob lead the evening.

Rob was great, he came to the golden eagle venue for our wedding and made sure my husband danced until he quite literally couldn’t dance any more. Rob was the DJ and provided MC services for our wedding in May 2023 at the Stanley Park Pavilion and he was fantastic! Leading up to the day we had a few telephone meetings with Rob to sort out logistics and go over music preferences. Rob helped us decide on music for the ceremony, which we had been going back and forth on a lot, and was really great at understanding the kind of vibe we wanted for the day. We had our ceremony outside, which he was able to accommodate (thanks, Rob!), and then the reception inside. Rob was quick to troubleshoot any technical glitches with mics and what not, and moved things along smoothly for the cocktail reception and dinner. The dance party after dinner was stellar! We got a lot of compliments from guests on the DJ and music selections. We would definitely recommend Rob :)

Rob steel! Rob is a gem and I know a lot of you have worked with him or know of him in the wedding industry and it’s a huge reason on why we chose him to be apart of our day.
