Michelle at Set the Mood Decor was amazing to work with and she turned our ceremony and reception space at Ravine Vineyard in Niagara on the Lake into our dream wedding. Throughout the entire process Michelle was extremely responsive, communicative and honest - always providing amazing tips and feedback on how we could create the most beautiful wedding while also being aware of budget. Michelle met with us frequently to review our wedding plans and make sure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. This organization paid off and she made our vision come to light. She was also extremely flexible in making sure we got our flowers on time and open to having a friend help us with our reception flowers and decor. Can't stress enough how grateful we are for Michelle, her professionalism and creativity!

We hired Set The Mood for our wedding chair covers and working with Michelle was wonderful. She is very responsive and was flexible when I changed our colours from ivory to white. Very competitively priced and efficient in set up and take down. The chair covers were the perfect addition to our wedding. Highly recommend!!

We did not plan on requiring additional decor however after seeing details that were created by Set The Mood Decor, we knew we needed it! The ceiling installation provided brought the whole look of our reception room together. We were so pleased with how the aesthetic was enhanced. I couldn't be happier for the great service we received from Set The Mood Decor!! B/c of covid, I had my ceremony and reception on two separate dates and Michelle was very flexible and accommodating. She has great knowledge about different kinds of flowers, their aesthetic and she is able to work with your budget! There are SO many details that go into wedding planning and Michelle was able to work with me to get every last detail established. Michelle was amazing throughout the entire process while planning the wedding, and then on the day of she completely exceeded all expectations. When trying to sort out flowers and how everything would tie together with the wedding party Michelle made sure to double and triple check that she and I were on the same page for what I wanted everything to look like. She made suggestions along the way about chairs and flowers and so many small details that most people would have overlooked and it resulted in my wedding being absolutely perfect from start to finish. Michelle was so easy to get a hold of, offering her personal cellphone number which she responded on when I texted her late the night before the wedding. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am that Michelle was our decorator and florist. If you want someone with fair prices, an eye for detail, and an obvious passion for what they do then Michelle is the person to hire.

I cant say enough about Set the Mood decor and more specifically Michelle. Due to covid I had to change everything we had planned, including the venue, to the point we were going to post pone until next year. After supportive words from family, we decided to do the wedding this year after all...the problem was the wedding date was 2 months away! Michelle said no problem, I can give you exactly what you want and she did that and more. We emailed and called countless times, sometimes very late in the evening when an idea or worry would strike me. She answered right away and spoke to me with confidence and professionalism. She even hooked me up with other vendors for things she did not supply like chairs and glassware. She also set up and took down all the decor and florals...and they were lots and lots of florals. Michelle turned a backyard into the setting of my dream wedding and I could never thank her enough.

Michelle was incredible to work with. Overall, the process of planning and making decisions with her was really easy, and she was ALWAYS there to help with questions, or even if we just needed advice! However where she really stepped up was the day before and day of our wedding. She basically stepped into the role of day-of coordinator because she could tell that things were slipping. We hired Michelle for our ceremony arbor, charger plates, chair covers, napkins, centrepieces, and some table cloths— what she actually did was so much more. She helped to set up all the items we rented from her, but also made sure the entire room was set up with the decor we brought. She kept the groom calm when he was panicking about the room not being ready. She helped to corral the groomsmen and venue staff to get it all done. She was there to help attach the boutonnières for all the groomsmen. She was even there right up until the ceremony, helping to open the doors as everyone in the wedding party entered. This was NOT Michelle’s job, and there is no way to thank her enough for all of her help! As a note, please don’t EXPECT this, because again, was out of the realm of what we expected, asked, or paid for (and I certainly hope this isn’t how jobs normally go for her). However, without a doubt, you can rely on her to come through with your vision for your wedding, and to help with any questions you may have. Could not be more grateful!! What are you waiting for??? Anyone who is in need of a decorator/florals - you will not find anyone better suited for the job than Michelle! I did not actually meet her until the wedding weekend and through all the quick responses to emails and phone calls she was able to make my dream become a reality. Michelle is patient and honest during the entire process. She will NEVER try to oversell you; when the list I gave her was quite long she actually explained what I should remove as to not overdo it and her advice was 100% spot on. Her prices are extremely reasonable. I was struggling to pinpoint a few details and she took the time to ask me many questions to narrow it down and make sure I was happy with the end result. When we were having difficulties deciding on a florist she stepped in a few months before the wedding and ended up doing all of our florals which we received countless compliments on and that I am still dreaming about a month later. She ensured I was comfortable with every decision even small details like the colours of the boutonnieres. I am truly thankful to have had the chance to work with Michelle and I would highly recommend reaching out. Our day would NOT have been the same without all of her hard work!!
