I was going to pass on a wedding cake originally and my mum convinced me otherwise. So glad I didn't, all of Maria's work was wonderful. It added so many beautiful touches to the day, and the sweets were enjoyed by everyone. Her details and artistry were stunning and on top of that everyone thought they were delicious, nothing went to waste! (the cookies and doughnuts were my personal favourites, which is on brand because cookies are my favorite sweet). She was flexible and accommodating with our vision and really brought it to life. Would definitely recommend. (for ref we got a cake, cookie favours, assorted dessert box that consisted of doughnuts, cake pops and cream puffs)

OMG FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH MARIA!! I want to thank you for the beautiful cake that you recreated from an Instagram photo for me. We got soooo many compliments and not only was it beautiful it was sooooo delicious. IT's very hard to trust someone to make a cake for your special day but I am so happy I trusted you to recrate it. Beautiful and delicious wedding cake!
Maria of Sweet Avenue Cakery was absolutely wonderful. The cake was beautiful, the sugar flowers were exquisite, and each of the tiers (different flavours) were delicious! We wanted a cake that tasted as good as it looked, and Maria made that happen. She was transparent about the cost, the timing, the delivery, etc., and made the whole process easy. Our wedding was beyond her usual delivery range, but there were no problems getting it to the venue. My only regret is that everyone loved the cake so much that we didn't have any leftovers!

Best cake I've ever had
Maria makes such light cakes with a lot of flavour. Her chocolate cake is to die for. We also wanted to pay the extra to have each of our tiers a different flavour and were pleasantly surprised that there was no extra cost

Maria at Sweet Avenue Cakery was amazing. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and tasted fantastic. She created the exact cake that I had pictured in my mind and made it taste delicious. Normally you see leftover cake at weddings, but it was all eaten up at mine (and we'd budgeted enough cake for more people than we had attend)! If you're looking for a great tasting and beautiful cake at a very reasonable cost, Sweet Avenue Cakery is the place for you.

Maria at Sweet Avenue Cakery was great from start to finish. We met with her at her home and she had set out a great little cake tasting for us. We decided on carrot cake with cream cheese icing. We told her the design we wanted and that we wanted the top flowers to match our cake. She delivered with a cake stand and extra box to take away our top tier. The cake was AMAZING! It matched our flowers EXACTLY and tasted great. She made the flowers by hand and also the pearls that were around the cake, just simply wonderful! The cake was not too sweet and just perfect for a little piece after the meal. For the quality of cake we received for the price, we got such a good deal. Maria was quick to respond to any questions and I can’t recommend her enough!

Amazing and easy experience!
We were on a last minute hunt for our cake.we wanted a cupcake tower with a cutting cake our go to unfortunately wasn't doing customizations.After a long search and only about 1.5 months left before the wedding we came across Sweet Avenue Cakery! Her cake was so different,had amazing flavors and all with nice fruit preserve,we decided to go with her.All I did was tell her my colours and asked about flowers on the cake.Come the wedding day I couldn't wait to see it.It was more than I could imagine so simple and beautiful cutting cake with the colours I asked,I didnt even haveto show her a colour swatch.The flowers on the cake I had to do a double take,they were these beautiful sugar flowers that I wish I could save! The cake was light and not too sweet and the butter cream was creamy and light,so different from other cakes we have had.Thank you Maria for our wonderful cake and last minute!
