Donna is very talented and was a pleasure to work with. She was able to incorporate all of our design requirements and also apply her professional expertise, where needed, to ensure that our wedding cake vision was feasible. The cake was a HUGE hit with our guests in terms of both taste and appearance. Donna was amazing to work with! She was very responsive and reliable and delivered an outstanding product. We ordered the vanilla dulce de leche cake for our wedding. We absolutely loved it when we tasted it (she provided such great samples but the dulce de leche was just stellar!). It was just as good on our wedding day and those who tasted it had such positive reviews. The cake was beautiful and her flower work is fantastic. Donna, also made my bridal shower desserts. They were impeccable. Her work is beautiful and tastes amazing, her attention to detail is crazy. She also made my wedding cake and made sugar orchid flowers by hand. Having planned my wedding from a California and had my wedding in Toronto, she was always so prompt to respond back to emails. Donna created a beautiful and tasty three tiered cake for my wedding! She was able to work with flowers from my florist and arrived on time. Her cake samples were generous. I loved the carrot cake, the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this vendor for your special day! -

It was one if the most enjoyable moments of my big day when I saw the cake that I have been envisioning right there on the table, with the prettiest hand-made flowers matching my colour theme. The cake was delicious and above our expectations.
The most admireable thing about Madomiselle Vanilla is their fast and easy communication during the planning processes (it makes the biggest difference). The cake testing at home was very convenient! They were open to my ideas, were flexible with changes and offered the most!! Definitely recommend. -

Hi! I'm Donna, lead cake designer and owner of Mademoiselle Vanilla. Not many people found their calling in life, but I consider myself very fortunate to have found my passion--cake decorating! I jumped head first on a bin full of sugar 3 years ago, quit my day-job & pursued Confectionary Arts at Bonnie Gordon College and loved every minute of it!. What I love most about designing cakes is making sugar flowers for days on end. Sounds tiring, but for me, it's always fun and seeing wedding cakes with my creations, and the couples wonderful feedback thereafter, are always rewarding.
