Varied quality, but overall good.
When we tried the sample cakes, they were out of this world - by far the best cake either of us had ever tasted. The cake that we got did not taste as good as the samples did. The top tier was very dry and no one liked it. The bottom tier was decent. The chocolate cupcakes were dry, but the lemon cupcakes were good.

If it weren't for the samples that we tried setting the bar really high, the cake would have been good. But we were really disappointed that the samples didn't match the quality of the actual cake.
